Wiktor Zielinski (POL) gewinnt Treviso Open 2017 im Finale gegen Mario He (AUT) mit 9-1. Den 3. Platz belegen Denis Grabe (EST) und Eklent kaci (ALB). Heute beginnt in Treviso/Italien der letzte Euro-Tour Stopp des Jahres 2017. In der Zeit vom 16. – 18. November werden in Treviso mehr als 140 Teilnehmer um ein Gesamtpreisgeld von 36.000 Euro spielen. Titelverteidiger ist der amtierende World Pool Masters Champion David Alcaide, er bezwang im Vorjahr Joshua Filler aus Deutschland mit 9-6. Das Mosconi Cup Team 2017 der Europäer steht bereits fest, und dennoch geht es jetzt schon los mit der Qualifikation für den Mosconi Cup 2018. Oktober 2017 trifft sich in Klagenfurt/Österreich die europäische Pool Billard Elite um beim nächsten Euro-Tour Stopp einen weiteren Sieger zu ermitteln. Viele der besten Spieler Europas werden um das Gesamtpreisgeld von 36.000 Euro spielen. 11/08/2017 Grilo ousted Alcaide from the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open Joao Grilo (POR) just eliminated #1 ranked player David Alcaide (ESP) from the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open at the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende, The Netherlands, in the round of the last 32 players single elimination stage. Grilo had a day of super performance today. He cleared Vladislav Shopik (BLR) 9:6 in the second winner’s round before losing 5:9 to local hero Marco Teutscher (NED) in the winner’s qualification round. Then, he took down Ville Hamalainen (FIN) in the loser’s qualification round 9:7 to qualify for the round of the last 32 players single elimination. He was drawn into the field and got the toughest of all draws: the current Euro-Tour ranking leader David Alcaide (ESP). What a heavyweight opponent for Grilo! Pool players around the UK will be returning to Telford in June as the 9th annual Paul Medati Trophy once again takes place at the Park Inn by Raddison hotel. Players of all disciplines, not least 9-ball and snooker, will have memories of Paul as a player and a genuinely great person. Paul started in the snooker ranks, becoming a professional player in his earlier life before turning to 9-ball. Paul played in the inaugural season of GB9 back in 2008 before sadly losing his battle with cancer shortly afterwards. Paul is remembered as one of the friendliest players on tour and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. The event was dedicated to Paul in 2009 and has been hosted every year since, becoming one of the most sought after titles of the year. 26th April – 2017 World Cup of Pool England Teams Confirmed for York Hall World Showdown With the world’s greatest shooters set to gather at the iconic East London venue in June, the two England teams have been confirmed for the forthcoming World Cup of Pool at York Hall, London, June 13-18.
