3rd January – World Pool Masters Full field announced WITH HALF THE 16 man field already announced for the 24th annual World Pool Masters, the remaining eight players can now be named to complete the line-up and make the field one of the strongest in recent years. The event will be taking place from Friday to Sunday 17th – 19th February at the Victoria Stadium, Gibraltar. Konrad Juszczyszyn (POL) gewinnt Gotham City Billiards 9 Ball Pro Classic 2016 im Finale gegen Cheng Yu-Hsuan (TPE) mit 13-6. Den 3. Platz belegt Hsu Kai-Lun (TPE). Vom 08. – 10. Oktober 2016 findet in Brooklyn/New York die 2. Ausgabe der Gotham City Billiards 9 Ball Pro Classic statt. Dieses 9 Ball Pool Billard Turnier ist das erste Event von einer Reihe erstklassiger Veranstaltungen in den nächsten Wochen. Ende Oktober finden in New York die Steinway Classics statt, sowie vom 16. – 22. Oktober das größte 9 Ball Turnier in den Staaten, die US Open 9 Ball Championship. Zusätzlich gibt es in der nächsten Woche vom 12. – 16. Oktober noch die American 14.1 Straight Pool Championship 2016, die Infos zu diesem 14.1 Turnier sollten in den nächsten Tagen folgen. In the first race to 9 semi-final, which begins at 12pm(GMT +8),  Korea’s Ga Young Kim will take on China’s Lui Shasha. The match will be a battle of former champions; Kim won the Women’s World 9-ball Championship in 2004 and 2006, while Lui won the title the first year the tournament was played in China in 2009 at the incredible age of just 16 years old.
