Team Europe ready for WPA World Junior 9-Ball Championships

14/11/2015 The World Championships for Under 19, Under 17 and Girls players are currently on in Shanghai, China. The venue is the Huimin Middle School. A total of 96 players representing 24 nations will be competing for the coveted title of World Champion. Each category is filled with 32 players and divided into four groups. The Under 19s will play race to 9 until the quarter-finals, then switch to race to 11 racks. The Under 17s and girls will race to 7 until the quarter-finals, then switch to 8 (Under 17s) respectively 9 (girls). Matches with European participation in the first rounds. Surprising winners in 8-ball

26/07/2015 Three more Gold Medals have been awarded at the Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth in the Alpina Sports & Wellness Hotel, St. Johann i.Pg, Austria. The 8-ball individuals are over and the titles were taken by Diana Khodjaeva (BEL), Sanjin Pehlivanovic (BIH) and Pascal Bruckmann (GER) in their respective categories. In the Under 19’s, Pascal Bruckmann was definitely the underdog. His opponent Maksim Dudanets (RUS) has already won the Gold Medal in straight pool and a Bronze Medal in 10-ball this week. But the match took a course as nobody would have expected it. Bruckmann had a furious start and after six racks, the scoreboard displayed a 5:1 lead for the German. Then Dudanets pulled one rack back, making the score 2:5. But Bruckmann was on fire. He played almost perfectly and won the next two racks as well, winning the match and the title with 7:2. Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth 2015

In der kommenden Woche vom 21. – 28. Juli 2015 werden in St. Johann/Österreich bei der Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth 2015 die besten europäischen Nachwuchstalente auf die Jagd nach Medaillen gehen. Und natürlich zählen auch einige Deutsche Teilnehmer zu den Favoriten. Im letzten Jahr waren die deutschen Schüler und Jugendlichen die erfolgreichste Nation bei der Europameisterschaft 2014 in Portoroz/Slowenien, sie gewannen den Medaillenspiegel mit 5x Gold und 3x Bronze. Eines der hoffnungsvollsten deutschen Pool Billard Talente wird leider in St. Johann nicht am Start sein. Die Rede ist von Joshua Filler vom Deutschen Pool Billard Mannschaftsmeister PBC Schwerte, er wurde vom deutschen Billardverband leider für diese EM gesperrt. Warum und weshalb?
