The fight for an automatic spot on Team Europe at this year’s partypoker Mosconi Cup is now a three-way battle with Niels Feijen and Albin Ouschan hoping to do enough at the International Open to earn a spot on Marcus Chamat’s team. Mario He is sweating on their progress as he has been knocked out of the International Open in Virginia. Eklent Kaci has already secured his place on the team through the European ranking list and has a good chance of finishing inside the top two on the Combined List also. Should this happen, the player ranked third on the Combined List would also qualify for the partypoker Mosconi Cup. Austria’s He was second on the Combined List ahead of the International Open but has been knocked out of the event without scoring any points. That means that both Ouschan and Feijen know that reaching the final eight at the International Open would secure them a place on Chamat’s Team Europe. Mario He hat die Dynamic Billard Klagenfurt Open 2018 im Sportpark Klagenfurt gewonnen. Der Österreicher konnte im Finale einen knappen 9:8-Erfolg über Mark Gray aus England feiern. Auf dem dritten Platz landen Marc Bijsterbosch (NED) und Oliver Szolnoki (HUN). Mit dem Erfolg hat Mario He seinen zweiten Rang im europäischen Mosconi-Cup-Ranking gefestigt und wird ziemlich sicher im Dezember im Ally Pally dabei sein! 18/11/2017 16-year-old Zielinski snatches the title in Treviso The winner of the Dynamic Billard Treviso Open 2017 is 16-year-old Wiktor Zielinski (POL). In the final match, he outclassed his opponent Mario He (AUT) 9:1. The final event of the 2017 Euro-Tour series has a sensational winner. He is probably the youngest and also fastest player to ever win a Euro-Tour event. So far, Zielinski’s best achievement in the Euro-Tour was a 5th place finish in Albufeira, Portugal, earlier this year. Here in Treviso, Zielinski started his quest with a 9:5 victory over his teammate Piotr Ostrowski (POL). His next victim was Gentjan Gega (ALB) 9:6. Then, he was defeated by Stefan Huber (AUT) 6:9 and sent to the loser’s side. Zielinski finished Jakub Koniar (SVK) 9:5 to get to the single elimination stage. In the round of the last 32 players, Zielinski wiped the floor with Abdulrahman Alammar (KSA) 9:1. Wiktor Zielinski (POL) gewinnt Treviso Open 2017 im Finale gegen Mario He (AUT) mit 9-1. Den 3. Platz belegen Denis Grabe (EST) und Eklent kaci (ALB). Heute beginnt in Treviso/Italien der letzte Euro-Tour Stopp des Jahres 2017. In der Zeit vom 16. – 18. November werden in Treviso mehr als 140 Teilnehmer um ein Gesamtpreisgeld von 36.000 Euro spielen. Titelverteidiger ist der amtierende World Pool Masters Champion David Alcaide, er bezwang im Vorjahr Joshua Filler aus Deutschland mit 9-6. Das Mosconi Cup Team 2017 der Europäer steht bereits fest, und dennoch geht es jetzt schon los mit der Qualifikation für den Mosconi Cup 2018. Die Treviso Open 2017 sind das erste Ranking Event für das neue Jahr. 15/11/2017 Treviso hosts the final Euro-Tour of the 2017 season Tomorrow, the final event of the 2017 Euro-Tour series will kick off. The BHR Treviso Hotel will once again be the host for another event, the Dynamic Billard Treviso Open. 142 players from as many as 32 countries will definitely put up high class fights in order to find out who will be the last man standing on Saturday night. Most European top players are on site including rising star Eklent Kaci (ALB), finalist of the recent US Open and winner of the final event of the World Pool Series in New York City, NY, USA. Him and many others will be playing on 16 tables in the BHR Hotel which are located in two rooms, eight tables in each. Of course, all 16 tables are streamed live on the Kozoom website. WORLD POOL MASTERS RETURNS TO GIBRALTAR The World Pool Masters will return to Gibraltar from Friday, March 2 – Sunday, March 4 as some of the biggest names from the 25-year history of pool’s most prestigious invitational event return to celebrate the tournament’s quarter-centenary.
