Chang Yu-Lung (TPE) gewinnt 4th Annual Steinway Classic 2015 im Finale gegen Ko Ping-Chung (TPE) mit 13-11. Den 3. Platz belegt Jayson Shaw (SCO). Das nächste Pool Billard Highlight im internationalen Turnierkalender findet direkt im Anschluss an die derzeit noch laufenden US Open 9 Ball statt. Bei den US Open stehen die letzten Matches auf dem Programm und in New York werden die Vorbereitungen für die 4. Ausgabe der Steinway Classic abgeschlossen. Dieses 10 Ball Turnier ist terminlich für viele US Open Teilnehmer ideal platziert. Bevor die meisten Pro’s die Heimreise antreten bietet sich vom 01. – 03. November 2015 im Steinway Billiards eine weitere Chance auf ein Top-Turnier und einer Menge Preisgeld. Eighteen (18) matches featuring some of the best players in the world can be viewed in their entirety absolutely free! The 2015 US Bar Table Championships were held February 16-22, 2015 at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, NV. Jayson Shaw (SCO) gewinnt 5th Annual George “Ginky” SanSouci Memorial 2015 im Finale gegen Brian Deska (USA) mit 11-4. Den 3. Platz belegt Earl Strickland (USA). Vom 23. – 25. Mai 2015 findet in Astoria/New York die 5. Ausgabe des George „Ginky“ SanSouci Memorial statt. Dieses Turnier, im Rahmen der Predator Pro/Am Tour, wird auch 2015 dem am 08. März 2011 verstorbenen George SanSouci gewidmet. George SanSouci galt in den USA als einer der letzten echten “Gambler” und war darüber hinaus sehr beliebt bei seinen Pool Billard Kontrahenten und Fans im ganzen Land. Die Zuschauer liebten seine Art zu spielen. Er gehörte zu den talentiertesten Pool Billard Spielern in den USA und war u.a. Derby City Classic 9 Ball Champion des Jahres 2000. Im Alter von nur 39 Jahren verstarb George “Ginky” SanSouci und mit diesem Turnier wird jedes Jahr an einen der außergewöhnlichsten Charaktere der amerikanischen Pool Billard Szene erinnert. 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup – Shane and Bergman maintain top spots

21th April – 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup FOLLOWING THE Super Billiards Expo 10 Ball Championship which concluded at the weekend, Shane Van Boening maintained his lead at the top of the 2015 PartyPoker USA Mosconi Cup ranking. Van Boening was the highest placed American, finishing in fourth spot and has now opened up a 23 point lead over his nearest rival, Justin Bergman who kept his second spot with a 17th place finish. Scott Frost, who has yet to compete in a Mosconi Cup, edged his way into the shake-up as he leap-frogged both Jeremy Sossei and Skyler Woodward to claim a tie for second. The event was won by Dennis Orcollo who beat Scotland$B!G(Js Jayson Shaw in a close run final. Shaw$B!G(Js high finish is another result which boosts his chances of a Team Europe wild card when both teams are finalised in October. 3rd March, 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup Shane takes the early lead SHANE VAN BOENING, looking to make his ninth appearance in the PartyPoker USA Mosconi Cup, is the early leader in the nine tournament qualification series for the three automatic spots. So far, four events have been played and Van Boening carries a 12 point lead over second placed Justin Bergman, following a strong showing at the recent USBTC in Reno, which included winning the 9 ball division. The third automatic spot is currently occupied by Jeremy Sossei on 26 points, with Skyler Woodward and Scott Frost both snapping at his heels on 25 points. Players who finish in the top 32 in the qualifying events will receive ranking points and there are three categories of tournaments with differing amounts of points awarded accordingly. The next event in the series is the Super Billiards Expo which takes place from 16-19 April in Oaks, outside of Philadelphia. This is a Category2 event.
