Albin Ouschan conquers Dynamic Billard Dutch Open 2015 title

04/10/2015 In a final that was mainly determined by one man, Albin Ouschan (AUT) defeated „The Maharaja“ Imran Majid (GBR) clearly with 9:2. The early stage of the final match was determined by equal shotmaking of both players. Consequently, the scoreboard displayed 2:2 after four racks. In rack six, the referee called a foul shot on Majid which he disagreed with. However, Ouschan got to the table and managed to get a two-point lead for the first time in the match. It turned out that this situation became the turning point in the final. Ouschan had some luck with his safety play but in the end did not allow Majid to win any more rack. Gorst wins terrific comeback match over van den Berg

02/10/2015 Fedor Gorst, 15-year-old player from Moscow, Russia, just came up with a magnificent comeback against Nick van den Berg (NED), winning the match with 9:8. In the beginning everything looked like business as usual. Nick van den Berg, multiple European Champion and winner of 3 Euro-Tour stops, Mosconi Cup team player, was definitely favored over young talent Fedor Gorst. He took a quick 8:3 lead and went on the hill without any hiccups. It looked like the match would be over after a short time with an expected victor. But after rack eleven, the tide has turned in the match. Van den Berg’s break did not come anymore and Gorst hung in there, not accepting the threat of losing. To the contrary, it looked like Gorst grew stronger and stronger with every chance he could get. Albin Ouschan (AUT) gewinnt Dutch Open 2015 im Finale gegen Imran Majid (GBR) mit 9-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Sebastian Ludwig (GER) und Jonni Fulcher (GBR). Nach der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft in Doha und dem World Cup of Pool 2015, der gestern in London zu Ende gegangen ist, findet vom 01. – 04. Oktober 2015 in Leende/Niederlande der nächste Euro-Tour Stop statt. Die Dutch Open 2015 werden im Golden Tulip Hotel Jagershorst ausgetragen und bereits jetzt sind mehr als 170 Spieler aus ganz Europa gemeldet. Wie gewohnt von der Euro-Tour ist nahezu alles, was Rang und Namen hat, im europäischen Pool Billard Sport in Leende am Start, nur ganz wenige Namen wird man auf der Teilnehmerliste vermissen. Das Gesamtpreisgeld beträgt 34.000 Euro und Titelverteidiger ist Mark Gray aus Großbritannien –> Dutch Open 2014.
