Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt Pool Masters Cup 2015 im Finale gegen Artem Koshovyi (UKR) mit 9-5. Den 3. Platz belegen Eklent Kaci (ALB) und Denis Grabe (EST). Einige Tage vor Weihnachten findet in Antalya/Türkei eines der höchstdotierten Pool Billard Turniere des Jahres statt. Der Pool Masters Cup 2015 ist die 1. Ausgabe dieses 9 Ball Turniers und viele internationale Top-Spieler werden vom 16. – 19. Dezember um das Gesamtpreisgeld von 45.000 Euro spielen. Der Gewinner am Samstag bekommt 6.000 Euro. Es wird in einem 256 starken Teilnehmerfeld (bislang liegen ca. 120 Meldungen vor) im Doppel-KO System gespielt und ab der Runde der letzten 32 geht es im Einfach-KO weiter. Alle Matches werden auf 9 Gewinnspiele mit Wechselbreak ausgetragen. Zu den Favoriten zählen u.a.: Denis Grabe (EST), Ivica Putnik (CRO), Ivo Aarts (NED), Imran Majid (GBR), Marc Bijsterbosch (NED), Marco Teutscher (NED), Nick Malai (GRE), Oliver Ortmann (GER), Ralf Souquet (GER), Mika Immonen (FIN) sowie die beiden frischgebackenen Mosconi Cup Champions Nick van den Berg und Niels Feijen aus den Niederlanden. Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth 2015

In der kommenden Woche vom 21. – 28. Juli 2015 werden in St. Johann/Österreich bei der Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth 2015 die besten europäischen Nachwuchstalente auf die Jagd nach Medaillen gehen. Und natürlich zählen auch einige Deutsche Teilnehmer zu den Favoriten. Im letzten Jahr waren die deutschen Schüler und Jugendlichen die erfolgreichste Nation bei der Europameisterschaft 2014 in Portoroz/Slowenien, sie gewannen den Medaillenspiegel mit 5x Gold und 3x Bronze. Eines der hoffnungsvollsten deutschen Pool Billard Talente wird leider in St. Johann nicht am Start sein. Die Rede ist von Joshua Filler vom Deutschen Pool Billard Mannschaftsmeister PBC Schwerte, er wurde vom deutschen Billardverband leider für diese EM gesperrt. Warum und weshalb? Kaci through to quarter-finals in 9-ball The Dynamic European Championships – Youth, Seniors & Ladies Portoroz, Slovenia – 1-16 aug 2014 07/08/2014 Eklent Kaci (ALB) booked his seat in the quarter-final round of the 9-ball competition of the U17 players. In the round of the last 16 players, Kaci defeated Fedor Gorst (RUS) with 7:4. He will now face Johannes Schmitt (GER) in the quarter-final match. Kaci is probably one of the bigger surprises at this Dynamic Billard European Championships for Youth. He plays rock solid and convinces with his performance. He already won the Bronze Medal in 8-ball and the Silver Medal in 10-ball earlier this week. Coming here to Portoroz completely unheralded, it will be interesting to follow where the road of this young player will lead him to. The defending Champion Jan van Lierop (NED) could not live up to his performance from last year and lost two matches in order to be eliminated from the event. Filler, Dudanets and Khodjaeva win the 10-ball competition The Dynamic European Championships – Youth, Seniors & Ladies Portoroz, Slovenia – 1-16 aug 2014 04/08/2014 Three more Gold Medals have been awarded at the Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth in Hotel Bernadin in Portoroz, Slovenia. In the Under 17’s, Maksim Dudanets (RUS) defeated Eklent Kaci (ALB) in the final with 6:3. Kaci had been a serious outsider. But nevertheless he had earned his place in this final against Dudanets. Victories over Jan van Lierop (NED) with 6:3, Marsel Safiullin (RUS) with 6:4 and young Kestutis Zadeikis (LIT) with 6:1 paved his way into the final match. His opponent however was the clear favorite. Dudanets ousted Patrick Hofmann (GER) 6:0, Konrad Kleinszmit (POL) 6:3 and Wiktor Zielinski (POL) with 6:5 on his way to the championship match.
