23rd June – 2015 PartyPoker World Pool Masters Draw and Schedule Announced WITH THE 2015 PartyPoker World Pool Masters set for the iconic Victoria Warehouse from 14th to 16th August, the draw has been made and schedule set for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend of world-class pool. Featuring 16 players from 14 nations, the field is headed up by defending champion and No.1 seed Shane Van Boening (USA) who gets his defence underway against the dangerous Canadian John Morra. The second match on the Friday evening features 2013 champion Niels Feijen against the No.1 player on the South American rankings following their continental championships next month. The final Friday night match sees Mosconi Cup hero Karl Boyes face China’s World No. 6 Liu Haitao. 19th May – 2015 PartyPoker World Pool Masters Superstar field announced for Manchester WITH THE 2015 PARTYPOKER WORLD POOL MASTERS set to take place at the iconic Victoria Warehouse, Manchester from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th August, Matchroom Sport can announce the field for the 23rd annual pocket billiards showdown. Sporting a $20,000 top prize, the Masters aims to bring together some of the biggest names from around the world to contest what is the game’s most sought-after title. Heading the field will be defending champion Shane Van Boening (USA) as well as former champs Darren Appleton of England and Holland’s Niels Feijen, winners in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Jayson Shaw (SCO) gewinnt 5th Annual George “Ginky” SanSouci Memorial 2015 im Finale gegen Brian Deska (USA) mit 11-4. Den 3. Platz belegt Earl Strickland (USA). Vom 23. – 25. Mai 2015 findet in Astoria/New York die 5. Ausgabe des George „Ginky“ SanSouci Memorial statt. Dieses Turnier, im Rahmen der Predator Pro/Am Tour, wird auch 2015 dem am 08. März 2011 verstorbenen George SanSouci gewidmet. George SanSouci galt in den USA als einer der letzten echten “Gambler” und war darüber hinaus sehr beliebt bei seinen Pool Billard Kontrahenten und Fans im ganzen Land. Die Zuschauer liebten seine Art zu spielen. Er gehörte zu den talentiertesten Pool Billard Spielern in den USA und war u.a. Derby City Classic 9 Ball Champion des Jahres 2000. Im Alter von nur 39 Jahren verstarb George “Ginky” SanSouci und mit diesem Turnier wird jedes Jahr an einen der außergewöhnlichsten Charaktere der amerikanischen Pool Billard Szene erinnert. Eine der größten Billardveranstaltung auf der ganzen Welt startet am 16. April 2015. Die 23. Super Billiards Expo in Oaks, in der nähe von Philadelphia/USA, lockt jedes Jahr Tausende von Besuchern in das Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Die Super Billiards Expo ist die wohl größte Billardmesse auf der Welt und es wird den Zuschauern eine Menge geboten. But as the 2015 MP Cup World 10-ball championship kicked off on Tuesday in the Philippines southernmost city of General Santos, it was not the usual nerve rattling pressure that makes grown men cry and brings back the fans time and again that was on display. CueSports International, Henderson, Nevada (January 27, 2015) – CSI is pleased to announce that the 2014 CSI Invitational 8-Ball Championship matches have been released on the CSI YouTube channel. Fifteen (15) matches featuring some of the best players in the world, all filmed in the Predator Arena, can be viewed in their entirety absolutely free! The format consisted of four groups of four players each competing in a round robin format. Each group contained one player from each region – North America, Europe, Philippines, and Taiwan. The top finisher from each group moved into a single elimination finals bracket. Derby City Classic 2015

Wenn man in diesen Tagen die Pool Billard Fans nach einer Veranstaltung mit dem höchsten Unterhaltungswert fragt, werden die meisten das Derby City Classic nennen. Diese Pool Billard Veranstaltung findet zum 17. mal statt und wird auch dieses Jahr wieder für spektakuläre Pool Billard Unterhaltung sorgen. In der Zeit vom 23. – 31. Januar 2015 wird das Derby City Classic wie bereits in den Jahren zuvor im Horseshoe Casino in Elizabeth, Indiana/USA ausgetragen. In diesen 9 Tagen geht es beim DCC nur um eines, nämlich um Pool Billard Action auf höchstem Niveau. Es gibt zig Events, einige davon sind One Pocket, 9 Ball Bank, 9 Ball und die Straight Pool Challenge die im letzten Jahr von Ralf Souquet mit einer 178er Serie gewonnen wurde. Für all diese Turniere bzw. Disziplinen gibt es Punkte, der Spieler mit den besten Platzierungen wird am Ende zum All Around Champion – „Master of Table“ gekürt. Jayson Shaw (SCO) gewinnt gegen John Morra (CAN) mit 15-4 (8 Ball), 21-13 (9 Ball) und 21-15 (10 Ball) NYC Grind und AZBtv präsentieren in Zusammenarbeit erneut ein ziemlich interessantes Pool Billard Showmatch im Kings of Billiards in Akron, Ohio/USA. Vom 16. – 18. Januar 2015 duellieren sich zwei der derzeit stärksten Spieler, die man in den USA finden kann. Der Kanadier John Morra trifft auf den 26 jährigen Schotten Jayson Shaw. Beide befinden sich derzeit in absoluter Topform und werden über drei Tage für spektakuläre Pool Billard Unterhaltung sorgen. Zuletzt trafen beide beim Turning Stone Classic XXIII in Verona/New York am letzten Wochenende aufeinander. Shaw und Morra standen sich dort in einem großartigen Finale gegenüber.
