13th January 2016 Mosconi Cup – Tickets on sale this Friday The Mosconi Cup returns to London in December as Team Europe look to level the overall score to 11-11 after an 11-7 success over Team USA in Las Vegas, and Matchroom Sport are delighted to announce that tickets will go on sale at midday on Friday, January 15. Tickets are expected to sell fast so don’t miss your chance to witness pool’s greatest event. The Mosconi Cup takes place from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th December 2016 at the prestigious Alexandra Palace, London. Tickets will be available via www.matchroompool.com from midday (GMT) on Friday, January 15 and are priced at just £25 per session or £90 for a season ticket. VIP Hospitality tickets, including a two-course meal, private bar and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks and much more are available for £145 per session. 20th August – 2015 World Cup of Pool World-class line up set for York Hall showdown With the annual World Cup of Pool coming back to London this September, Matchroom Sport can announce the 32 teams and players set to contest the annual $250,000 pairs tournament. Taking place at pool’s fiercest venue, the York Hall in Bethnal Green, the World Cup runs from Tuesday 22nd to 27th September. Defending champions are England A with Karl Boyes and Darren Appleton looking to become the first pair to successfully defend their crown. Competition will be tough though, with a host of previous winners and finalists taking part. Germany will be represented by 2011 champions Thorsten Hohmann and Ralf Souquet and 2012 winners Mika Immonen and Petri Makkonen (Finland) will be once again taking part. The East London venue has a rich pool history having staged the Mosconi Cup on eight occasions as well as the World Cup in 2013. Die beiden deutschen Ausnahmespieler dominierten 2011 nach Belieben und bezwangen im Finale Thailand mit 10-4.
