13th October – World Pool Masters Masters set for Gibraltar in February THE 24th ANNUAL WORLD POOL MASTERS will take place from Friday to Sunday 17th – 19th February as pool’s longest running invitational event moves to GIBRALTAR. 16 of the world’s best players will gather in the shadow of the famous Rock of Gibraltar to contest the Masters and determine the destination of the $20,000 top prize. The Masters’ venue will be the Tercentenary Sports Hall, Victoria Stadium and tickets for the event will be sold online via www.buytickets.gi Commented Matchroom Sport Chairman Barry Hearn: “We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing the Masters to Gibraltar. 11th July RASSON announced as new Matchroom Pool table supplier MATCHROOM SPORT is delighted to announce that RASSON BILLIARDS will be the Official Table Supplier at all Matchroom pool events over the next three years. The company, based in Jiujiang City in south western China, have made large in roads into the billiard world since setting up 26 years ago. Originally, they were a slate producing country, something that they still specialize in. Rasson will be bringing their top-of-the-range Victory table to the Mosconi Cup, World Cup of Pool and World Pool Masters. With the Mosconi Cup set for Alexandra Palace, London this December and details of the World Cup of Pool and World Pool Masters 23rd and 11th editions to be announced in due course, Rasson’s tables will be seen on pool’s global stage over the next three years. Team West gewinnt Kings Cup 2015 gegen Team Asia mit 10-7. Vom 19. – 21. November 2015 findet in Manila/Philippinen die 1. Ausgabe des Kings Cup statt. Dieses Pool Billard Show-Event wurde von Dragon Promotions ins Leben gerufen und als großes Vorbild dient der alljährige Mosconi Cup von Matchroom Sport. Bei Kings Cup 2015 gehen zwei Teams zu je vier Spielern an den Start. Während beim Mosconi Cup jedes Jahr fünfköpfige Teams aus den USA und Europa ihr Können zeigen, sind es beim Kings Cup 2015 die Teams West und East. Hier hat der Veranstalter Dragon Promotions wirklich zwei tolle Teams auf die Beine gestellt, die ab dem kommenden Donnerstag in der Resorts World Manila gegeneinander antreten.
