The 2014 Qualifiers for the 74th World Tournament of 14.1 Begins New York City, NY – For the eighth year in a row, qualifiers will be held nationwide for the 74th edition of The World Tournament of 14.1. Players all over the United States will be able to take their chance with a low entry to win a spot to play against the world’s most extraordinary straight pool players! Each qualifier winner will be guaranteed a minimal of 5 round robin matches in the finale main event. The main event will take place once more in New York City. Dragon Promotions and Dr. Michael Fedak are pleased to bring the 74th production of the oldest billiard event in the world on August 4th-9th, 2014. Chicago, Illinois – The greatest straight pool championship in the world continues in its eighth consecutive year, the 73rd World Tournament of 14.1. Once again in partnership with Dr.Michael Fedak, Dragon Promotions will produce the biggest international 14.1 event in existence with this year’s event again likely to remain in the Northeast region of the United States. The absolute best pool players from around the world will arrive on the birth country of 14.1 once more to attend this prestigious event to vie for the coveted title of greatest straight pool player in the world.
