Joshua Filler (GER) gewinnt World 9 Ball China Open 2017 im Finale gegen Chang Jung-Lin (TW) mit 11-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Thorsten Hohmann (GER) und Cheng Yu-Hsuan (TW). Bei den Damen gewinnt Chen Siming (CHN) im Finale gegen Liu Shasha (CHN) mit 9-8. Den 3. Platz belegen Fu Xiaofang (CHN) und Chezka Centeno (PHI). Morgen beginnen in Shanghai die World 9 Ball China Open 2017. Die China Open zählen seit Jahren zu den größten Pool Billard Events auf der ganzen Welt. Für die meisten ist dieses Turnier die größtmögliche Herausforderung und der vielleicht größte Titel den man in seiner Karriere gewinnen kann. Nahezu die gesamte Weltelite wird bis zum 11. Juni um diesen begehrten Titel spielen, das Gesamtpreisgeld bei Damen und Herren zusammen beträgt mehr als 370.000$. 17/11/2016 World Junior 9-Ball Championships ready to go The WPA World Junior 9-Ball Championships in Shanghai, China, are ready to kick off. Team Europe is in good shape already. After the press conference in Huimin Middle School, an International Fun Cup was played with 5 players per continent. There were 4 different exercises and drills to play and team Europe has taken the first victory there already. A good writing on the wall for the upcoming Championships. After the Challenge, the draw was done for the event which consists of 32 players in each category (girls, U17 and U19). A total of 24 nations are in the starting gates. Austria’s Albin Ouschan wins the 2016 World 9-ball Championship with an emphatic 13-6 win over American Shane Van Boening. But even he couldn’t have imagined the dream day he just conjured up on the way to winning pool’s most prestigious prize. After first blowing out Canada’s Alex Pagulayan in the semi-final, Ouschan came back to put an emphatic and somewhat shocking 13 – 6 drubbing on American Shane Van Boening to capture his first WPA World 9-ball championship in front of over 400 people at the Al Arabi Sports Club in Doha.
