13/08/2017 Fefilava grabs her first Euro-Tour title in Leende At the Dynamic Billard Dutch Women’s Open in the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende, The Netherlands, Marharyta Fefilava (BLR) went all the way and pulled her first tour title, winning the final match 7:2 over Oliwia Czuprynska (POL). Marharyta Fefilava had an easy start today. Her opponent in the first single elimination round did not show up so she advanced into the quarter-final without even playing. Then, she took down Katarzyna Wesolowska (POL) and Yvonne Ullmann (GER) one after the other, both with 7:4. So she was waiting in the final match. Czuprynska’s way into the final match was filled with highs and lows. In the single elimination, she defeated Ine Helvik (NOR) 7:3. Then, she marched on to a comfortable 7:1 over Melanie Suessenguth (GER). She then met Eylul Kibaroglu from Turkey in the semi-final. 12/08/2017 Chinakhov wins his first Euro-Tour After a dramatic final match, Ruslan Chinakhov (RUS) raised the trophy in the air at the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open at the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende, The Netherlands tonight. Chinakhov never had a victory at the Euro-Tour so far. However, this year he already won the European Championships 9-Ball and one of the WPS events in the United States. However, the Euro-Tour title was still not in his list of achievements. He made his way into the final match over Mats Schjetne (NOR) 9:5, Francisco Diaz-Pizarro (ESP) 9:6, Marco Teutscher (NED) 9:8 and finally his teammate Sergey Lutsker (RUS) 9:5. His opponent Christoph Reintjes (GER) also played an amazing tournament so far. His last appearance at the Euro-Tour is eight years ago and he came back to Leende to make it to the final of 199 top players, eliminating big guns including Jakub Koniar (SVK) 9:6, Wojciech Szewczyk (POL) 9:5, Niels Feijen (NED) 9:6 and Albin Ouschan (AUT) 9:6 in the semi-final match. 11/08/2017 Grilo ousted Alcaide from the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open Joao Grilo (POR) just eliminated #1 ranked player David Alcaide (ESP) from the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open at the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende, The Netherlands, in the round of the last 32 players single elimination stage. Grilo had a day of super performance today. He cleared Vladislav Shopik (BLR) 9:6 in the second winner’s round before losing 5:9 to local hero Marco Teutscher (NED) in the winner’s qualification round. Then, he took down Ville Hamalainen (FIN) in the loser’s qualification round 9:7 to qualify for the round of the last 32 players single elimination. He was drawn into the field and got the toughest of all draws: the current Euro-Tour ranking leader David Alcaide (ESP). What a heavyweight opponent for Grilo! 10/08/2017 Ekonomopoulos through with minimum effort On the first day of the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open at the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende, The Netherlands, Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE) succeeded over Maksim Dudanets (RUS) with 9:7 in a match that was determined by many errors. The lineup was promising. Ekonomopoulos belongs to Europe’s pool elite for many years already. His opponent today, Maksim Dudanets, belongs to the young Russian players which have earned many merits during European Championships and previous Euro-Tours. Both players have a high profile record and the match was expected to be of high quality. In the beginning of the match, that was valid and true for Dudanets. He played solid and performed quite well while Ekonomopoulos committed unexplainable errors. He missed easy pots and positions and he seemed to be completely off track. Ruslan Chinakhov (RUS) gewinnt Dutch Open 2017 im Finale gegen Christoph Reintjes (GER) mit 9-4. Den 3. Platz belegen Sergey Lutsker (RUS) und Albin Ouschan (AUT). Die Dutch Womens Open 2017 gewinnt Marharyta Fefilava (BLR) im Finale gegen Oliwia Czuprynska mit 7-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Eylul Kibaroglu (TUR) und Yvonne Ullmann (GER). Vom 10. – 13. August 2017 trifft sich in Leende/Niederlande die europäischen Pool Billard Elite um beim nächsten Euro-Tour Stopp einen weiteren Sieger zu ermitteln. Viele der besten Spieler Europas werden um das Gesamtpreisgeld von 36.000 Euro spielen. Bei den Dutch Open 2017 geht es nicht nur um viele Punkte für das Euro-Tour Ranking sondern auch um eine bessere Platzierung im Mosconi Cup Ranking. Das Euro-Tour Ranking wird derzeit vom amtierenden World Pool Masters Champion David Alcaide aus Spanien angeführt, dicht gefolgt von Mario He aus Österreich und Joshua Filler aus Deutschland. 30/07/2017 Pool comes to town in Leende, The Netherlands For the duration of one whole month, the Golden Tulip Hotel Jagershorst, Leende, The Netherlands, will be the home of high class pool billiard action. In the beginning, the Dynamic Billard European Championships for Youth will be played, starting on Monday, July 31st and being scheduled to finish on August 7th, 2017. From August 10-12, 2017, The Dynamic Billard Euro-Tour will follow the Youth EC. August 12-13, the Women’s Euro-Tour will be featured. Following these two prize money events, the Dynamic Billard European Championships for Seniors and Ladies will continue the pool festival in Leende. Finally, the newly formed Under 23 (U23) European Championships will end the pool billiard spectacle in Leende, being staged from August 23-26, 2017. 23 tables are located on two floors. One room holds 14 tables and is situated in the basement of the Golden Tulip Hotel Jagershorst. This room is usually also used for the Euro-Tour events. 02/10/2016 Feijen terminated them all „The Terminator“ Niels Feijen (NED) just won the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open in Leende, The Netherlands, with a 9:7 victory over David Alcaide (ESP) in the final match. The final match between Feijen and Alcaide began with a break and run from Alcaide. That was the only time that Alcaide had a lead over Feijen for a long time in the match. Feijen came up strong and look a 3:1 lead over Alcaide. But Alcaide stayed in the match, never allowing Feijen to get away too far. After twelve racks, the score was leveled at 6:6. Then Alcaide even got to 7:6 over Feijen. But „The Terminator“ showed a strong will for victory today. In rack 14, Feijen broke and ran out to equalize the score at 7:7. Then, Alcaide had no shot after his break in rack 15 but he tried to force the 1-ball in. 28/09/2016 Dynamic Billard Dutch Open sets sails tomorrow The next Euro-Tour is about to begin tomorrow. 159 players from over 30 countries have announced for the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open 2016 in The Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel, Leende, The Netherlands. For the third time already, the Euro-Tour stops in the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende. Though the space is a bit limited and the event can only be played on eleven tables, many players have enrolled for the event as usually when the Euro-Tour comes to The Netherlands. Since less tables than normally are in use, the event lasts one day longer than usually and the final match will be played on Sunday at 17:30 CET. As always, valuable points for the European rankings are at stake as well as 34.000,-€ in prize money. The current leader of the rankings, Mark Gray from Great Britain, still has a comfortable lead over 2nd Albin Ouschan from Austria and 3rd Niels Feijen from The Netherlands. Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt Dutch Open 2016 im Finale gegen David Alcaide (SPA) mit 9-7. Den 3. Platz belegen Wojciech Szewczyk (POL) und Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz (ESP) Auch die Euro-Tour startet nach einer kleinen Sommerpause in den Herbst der Saison. Am nächsten Donnerstag, den 29. September 2016 werden in Leende in den Niederlanden die Dutch Open 2016 eröffnet. Bis zum kommenden Sonntag, den 02. Oktober wird nahezu die komplette europäische Pool Billard Elite in Leende am Start sein. Insgesamt gehen knapp 160 Spieler aus ganz Europa auf die Jagd nach dem Gesamtpreisgeld von 34.000 Euro. In Leende wird wie bereits im letzten Jahr um einen Tag verlängert werden müssen. Im Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel stehen den Teilnehmern nur 11 Tische zur Verfügung. Dennoch erwartet uns ein wie immer sehr gut organisiertes Event der EPBF bei der schwersten Pool Billard Tour überhaupt. 04/10/2015 In a final that was mainly determined by one man, Albin Ouschan (AUT) defeated „The Maharaja“ Imran Majid (GBR) clearly with 9:2. The early stage of the final match was determined by equal shotmaking of both players. Consequently, the scoreboard displayed 2:2 after four racks. In rack six, the referee called a foul shot on Majid which he disagreed with. However, Ouschan got to the table and managed to get a two-point lead for the first time in the match. It turned out that this situation became the turning point in the final. Ouschan had some luck with his safety play but in the end did not allow Majid to win any more rack. He played consistently and paved his way to glory with solid pool and excellent shotmaking. 9:2 was the final result which brought Ouschan the victory at the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open. „I was lucky at times with my safety play,“ admitted Ouschan after the match, „but all in all I think I have played some good pool here.“ „I have […]
