28/09/2016 Dynamic Billard Dutch Open sets sails tomorrow The next Euro-Tour is about to begin tomorrow. 159 players from over 30 countries have announced for the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open 2016 in The Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel, Leende, The Netherlands. For the third time already, the Euro-Tour stops in the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende. Though the space is a bit limited and the event can only be played on eleven tables, many players have enrolled for the event as usually when the Euro-Tour comes to The Netherlands. Since less tables than normally are in use, the event lasts one day longer than usually and the final match will be played on Sunday at 17:30 CET. As always, valuable points for the European rankings are at stake as well as 34.000,-€ in prize money. The current leader of the rankings, Mark Gray from Great Britain, still has a comfortable lead over 2nd Albin Ouschan from Austria and 3rd Niels Feijen from The Netherlands. Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt Dutch Open 2016 im Finale gegen David Alcaide (SPA) mit 9-7. Den 3. Platz belegen Wojciech Szewczyk (POL) und Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz (ESP) Auch die Euro-Tour startet nach einer kleinen Sommerpause in den Herbst der Saison. Am nächsten Donnerstag, den 29. September 2016 werden in Leende in den Niederlanden die Dutch Open 2016 eröffnet. Bis zum kommenden Sonntag, den 02. Oktober wird nahezu die komplette europäische Pool Billard Elite in Leende am Start sein. Insgesamt gehen knapp 160 Spieler aus ganz Europa auf die Jagd nach dem Gesamtpreisgeld von 34.000 Euro. In Leende wird wie bereits im letzten Jahr um einen Tag verlängert werden müssen. Im Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel stehen den Teilnehmern nur 11 Tische zur Verfügung. Dennoch erwartet uns ein wie immer sehr gut organisiertes Event der EPBF bei der schwersten Pool Billard Tour überhaupt. Es gibt nur wenige Pool Billard Turniere auf der Welt, die ein höheres Niveau haben und schwerer zu gewinnen sind. 06/08/2016 German wonderkid Filler knocks Immonen for eight Joshua Filler (GER), the German wonderkid, just defeated Mika Immonen (FIN) in the single elimination round of the last 32 players of the Dynamic Billard Albanian Open in Tirana, Albania, with 9:7. The result of the match is definitely a surprise but not yet the biggest story about the match. Also the pure fact that Filler won against Immonen in itself is not the biggest upset here. The major surprise of the match is the fact how Filler managed to triumph over Immonen. After eight racks played, Immonen was leading 7:1 (!) over Filler and just needed two more racks to waltz into the round of the last 16 players tomorrow. But then the match turned 180 degrees. Filler did not miss any more shots while Immonen started making mistakes. He scratched while playing a push-out, ran out of position and hooked himself up behind the wrong ball and left safety situations for Filler that the young German was able to run-out. Mateusz Sniegocki (POL) gewinnt Albanian Open 2016 im Finale gegen Joshua Filler (GER) mit 9-4. Den 3. Platz belegen Wojciech Szewczyk (POL) und Ruslan Chinakhov (RUS). Unmittelbar nach der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft in Doha/Katar und der Jugend Europameisterschaft in Tirana/Albanien findet am Freitag, den 05. August 2016 der nächste Euro-Tour Stopp statt. Für die meisten der europäischen Pool Billard Elite sind diese Albanian Open 2016 mit einer Menge Stress verbunden. Am Donnerstag, den 04. August ist der Finaltag der 9 Ball WM und wir dürfen gespannt sein, welche Europäer zu dieser Zeit noch im Turnier sind und ob alle Flieger pünktlich nach Tirana unterwegs sein werden. Spielort der Albanian Open 2016 ist das Tirana Expo Center und das Teilnehmerfeld ist mit 150 Meldungen erneut sehr gut besetzt. Mario He (AUT) gewinnt North Cyprus Open 2016 im Finale gegen Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE) mit 9-5. Den 3. Platz belegen Jayson Shaw (SCO) und Mika Immonen (FIN). Die North Cyprus Women Open 2016 gewinnt Kristina Tkach (RUS) im Finale gegen Marharyta Fefilava (BLR) mit 7-3. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Kateryna Polovinchuk (UKR) und Veronika Ivanovskaia (GER). Am kommenden Donnerstag startet in Kyrenia/North Cyprus die Euro-Tour in den Frühling 2016. Vom 02. – 05. Juni 2016 werden im Acapulco Holiday Resort die North Cyprus Open 2016 der Damen und Herren stattfinden. Für die Herren geht es neben dem Gesamtpreisgeld von 34.000 Euro natürlich auch wieder um viele wertvolle Punkte für das Ranking zur Qualifikation zum diesjährigen Mosconi Cup Anfang Dezember. Mark Gray (GBR) gewinnt Austrian Open 2016 im Finale gegen Ronald Regli (SUI) mit 9-5. Den 3. Platz belegen Marco Teutscher (NED) und Joshua Filler (GER). Die Austrian Womens Open 2016 gewinnt Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) im Finale gegen Kamila Khodjaeva (BEL) mit 7-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Vania Franco (POR) und Amalia Matas (SPA). Direkt im Anschluss an die Pool Billard Europameisterschaft in St. Johann/Österreich findet an gleicher Stelle der nächste Euro-Tour Stopp des Jahres statt. Vom 14. – 16. 02/04/2016 Roschkowsky comes up with perfect match The Dynamic Billard European Championships have commenced with the straight pool competition and Andreas Roschkowsky (GER) left a clear mark in terms of going for the title. He won his first round match over Marek Hajdovsky (CZE) in 45 minutes winning 100:0, using only one inning! That is the ultimate start for Roschkowsky and he is definitely a name on the list of the favorites for the title. Other remarkable first round results include Mateusz Sniegocki (POL) winning with 100:69 over Ruslan Chinakhov (RUS). In the winner’s qualification round of men’s straight pool, the winner of the recent Euro-Tour in Italy, Mieszko Fortunski (POL) lost 55:100 to Mats Schjetne (NOR). In the first round of the women’s division, favored Oliwia Czuprynska (POL) remained the upper hand over Ana Gradisnik (SLO), winning her first round match with 75:57. 01/04/2016 Dynamic Billard European Championships, here we go again! The picture seems to be quite familiar. 24 tables are set up in the tennis hall of the Alpina Sports & Wellness Hotel in Alpendorf, St. Johann Pg., Austria. The venue has seen many European Championship and Euro-Tour events so far. Today, the opening ceremony of the Dynamic Billard European Championships for Men, Women and Wheelchair athletes has taken place in this very venue. Among others, the major of St. Johann Pg., Mr. Guenther Mitterer, the owner of the venue, Mr. Erwin Schwarz and hundreds of players, coaches, referees and officials witnessed the vice-president of the EPBF, Mr. David Morris, opening the event and inviting the guests to a VIP party in the „Eule“ disco aprés ski bar. The fun will end tonight and serious pool action will start early next morning. From tomorrow on, 195 players from 33 European countries will play for the coveted title of the European Champion in the disciplines straight pool, 10-ball, 8-ball, 9-ball and teams. 25/02/2016 Magnificent standard of performance in Treviso The first day of the Dynamic Billard Italian Open in the BHR Best Western Hotel in Treviso, Italy, has proven one thing for sure: the level and standard of European pool billiards is extremely high. Clear victories were presented by two European star players who have decided to live in the United States these days. Mika Immonen (FIN) and Jayson Shaw (SCO) have attended the Euro-Tour since an absence of many years in order to find out about the competition level in Europe. „Iceman“ Immonen, who has participated in the Euro-Tour since its beginning in the early 90’s and is living in the US for many years now, whipped Rafig Adigazalov (EST) 9:1 and then remained the upper hand over Mateusz Sniegocki (POL) 9:7. „Eagle-eye“ Jayson Shaw had a bit more work to do today.
