Mieszko Fortunski (POL) gewinnt Italian Open 2016 im Finale gegen Ralf Souquet (GER) mit 9-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE) und Jayson Shaw (SCO). Die Italian Women Open 2016 gewinnt Jasmin Ouschan im Finale gegen Christine Wiechert (GER) mit 7-1. Den 3. Platz belegen Nataliya Seroshtan (RUS) und Katarzyna Wesolowska (POL). Am kommenden Donnerstag, den 25. Februar 2016 fällt der Startschuss für die Euro-Tour 2016. Wie in den letzten Jahren zuvor, startet die EPBF mit dem ersten Euro-Tour Event in Italien in das neue Jahr. Im sehr schönen BHR-Hotel in Treviso wird nahezu die gesamte europäische Pool Billard Elite am Start sein. Wenn am Samstag, den 27. Februar der Gewinner der Italian Open 2016 feststeht, hat dieser sich durch ein Teilnehmerfeld von knapp 200 Spieler durchgekämpft. Im letzten Jahr gewann der Niederländer Niels Feijen an gleicher Stelle im Finale gegen Nick Malaj aus Griechenland mit 9-2. Albin Ouschan conquers Dynamic Billard Dutch Open 2015 title

04/10/2015 In a final that was mainly determined by one man, Albin Ouschan (AUT) defeated „The Maharaja“ Imran Majid (GBR) clearly with 9:2. The early stage of the final match was determined by equal shotmaking of both players. Consequently, the scoreboard displayed 2:2 after four racks. In rack six, the referee called a foul shot on Majid which he disagreed with. However, Ouschan got to the table and managed to get a two-point lead for the first time in the match. It turned out that this situation became the turning point in the final. Ouschan had some luck with his safety play but in the end did not allow Majid to win any more rack. He played consistently and paved his way to glory with solid pool and excellent shotmaking. 9:2 was the final result which brought Ouschan the victory at the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open. „I was lucky at times with my safety play,“ admitted Ouschan after the match, „but all in all I think I have played some good pool here.“ „I have […]

02/10/2015 Fedor Gorst, 15-year-old player from Moscow, Russia, just came up with a magnificent comeback against Nick van den Berg (NED), winning the match with 9:8. In the beginning everything looked like business as usual. Nick van den Berg, multiple European Champion and winner of 3 Euro-Tour stops, Mosconi Cup team player, was definitely favored over young talent Fedor Gorst. He took a quick 8:3 lead and went on the hill without any hiccups. It looked like the match would be over after a short time with an expected victor. But after rack eleven, the tide has turned in the match. Van den Berg’s break did not come anymore and Gorst hung in there, not accepting the threat of losing. To the contrary, it looked like Gorst grew stronger and stronger with every chance he could get. The match was really very entertaining to watch and after 16 racks played, the scoreboard suddenly displayed a tie at 8:8. The match had turned into a one-rack-decider. What a drama! Albin Ouschan (AUT) gewinnt Dutch Open 2015 im Finale gegen Imran Majid (GBR) mit 9-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Sebastian Ludwig (GER) und Jonni Fulcher (GBR). Nach der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft in Doha und dem World Cup of Pool 2015, der gestern in London zu Ende gegangen ist, findet vom 01. – 04. Oktober 2015 in Leende/Niederlande der nächste Euro-Tour Stop statt. Die Dutch Open 2015 werden im Golden Tulip Hotel Jagershorst ausgetragen und bereits jetzt sind mehr als 170 Spieler aus ganz Europa gemeldet. Wie gewohnt von der Euro-Tour ist nahezu alles, was Rang und Namen hat, im europäischen Pool Billard Sport in Leende am Start, nur ganz wenige Namen wird man auf der Teilnehmerliste vermissen. Das Gesamtpreisgeld beträgt 34.000 Euro und Titelverteidiger ist Mark Gray aus Großbritannien –> Dutch Open 2014. Feijen wins Dynamic Billard Austrian Open over Filler

01/08/2015 In a high class quality final match, Niels Feijen (NED) defeated Joshua Filler (GER) with 9:7 in the final match of the Dynamic Billard Austrian Open. The writing was on the wall that this match would be a thriller. And the many spectators in the venue and on the computer screens were not disappointed. To the contrary. The final contained everything one could wish for. The first racks were close to perfect. Both players hardly made any mistakes and after nine racks the scoreboard displayed a small advantage for Feijen with 5:4. Then Filler made a mistake when he attempted a safety on the 2-ball when Feijen played a push-out instead of handing the situation back to Feijen. He left an open table for Feijen and „The Terminator“ ran out, taking a 6:4 lead over Filler. Feijen could continue with this strong performance and after 13 racks, he was on the hill leading 8:5. 31/07/2015 Joshua Filler (GER) powered past former World Champion Oliver Ortmann (GER) 9:2 in the second winner’s round of the Dynamic Billard Austrian Open. The match between the two Germans was really a clash between the generations. On one side Ortmann with all his victories and merits in the past, always to be considered a tough opponent. In the other corner Joshua Filler, young gun on fire who just became third in an international straight pool event in New York, USA. The match was expected a close fight. But it turned out to be everything else but that. To the contrary, Filler started out like a hurricane and played marvelous pool. His break shot was there and he made no mistakes in the early stage of the match. Ortmann’s disadvantage was that his break was not there and Filler punished him for that without mercy. Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt Austrian Open 2015 im Finale gegen Joshua Filler (GER) mit 9-7. Den 3. Platz belegen Sebastian Ludwig (GER) und Francisco Diaz-Pizarro (SPA). Im Anschluss an die derzeit laufende Pool Billard Europameisterschaft der Junioren in Österreich findet der 4. Euro-Tour Stopp der Saison statt. Im sehr schönen Alpina Sporthotel in St. Johann haben sich bislang mehr als 230 Teilnehmer gemeldet und diese werden vom 30. Juli – 01. August 2015 um das Gesamtpreisgeld von 34.000€ spielen. Die letzte Euro-Tour fand zuletzt Anfang Juni im nordhessischen Baunatal statt und der Gewinner der German Open 2015 hieß am Ende Petri Makkonen aus Finnland, er bezwang im Finale Konrad Juszczyszyn aus Polen mit 9-3. Wir sind gespannt ob Petri Makkonen seine gute Form halten konnte und auch in St. Johann eine Siegchance haben wird. Die insgesamt mehr als 230 Meldungen sind ein Ausrufezeichen, das die Euro-Tour, entgegen vieler Aussagen, am Ende ist. 26/07/2015 Three more Gold Medals have been awarded at the Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth in the Alpina Sports & Wellness Hotel, St. Johann i.Pg, Austria. The 8-ball individuals are over and the titles were taken by Diana Khodjaeva (BEL), Sanjin Pehlivanovic (BIH) and Pascal Bruckmann (GER) in their respective categories. In the Under 19’s, Pascal Bruckmann was definitely the underdog. His opponent Maksim Dudanets (RUS) has already won the Gold Medal in straight pool and a Bronze Medal in 10-ball this week. But the match took a course as nobody would have expected it. Bruckmann had a furious start and after six racks, the scoreboard displayed a 5:1 lead for the German. Then Dudanets pulled one rack back, making the score 2:5. But Bruckmann was on fire. He played almost perfectly and won the next two racks as well, winning the match and the title with 7:2. Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth 2015

In der kommenden Woche vom 21. – 28. Juli 2015 werden in St. Johann/Österreich bei der Dynamic Billard European Championships Youth 2015 die besten europäischen Nachwuchstalente auf die Jagd nach Medaillen gehen. Und natürlich zählen auch einige Deutsche Teilnehmer zu den Favoriten. Im letzten Jahr waren die deutschen Schüler und Jugendlichen die erfolgreichste Nation bei der Europameisterschaft 2014 in Portoroz/Slowenien, sie gewannen den Medaillenspiegel mit 5x Gold und 3x Bronze. Eines der hoffnungsvollsten deutschen Pool Billard Talente wird leider in St. Johann nicht am Start sein. Die Rede ist von Joshua Filler vom Deutschen Pool Billard Mannschaftsmeister PBC Schwerte, er wurde vom deutschen Billardverband leider für diese EM gesperrt. Warum und weshalb?
