In diesem Spiel geht es darum, als Erstes 69 Punkte zu erreichen. Das Rack wird prinzipiell wie ein 10 Ball Rack aufgebaut und ebenso funktioniert die aufsteigend-nummerische Vorgehensweise. Die Rechenarithmetik ist jedoch eine gänzlich andere, denn in get69 zählt jeder Ball. Für die gelbe Nr.1 gibt es einen Punkt, für die blaue Nr.2, dementsprechend zwei Punkte, bis hin zu der gestreiften Nr.10, für den man, wer hätte es vermutet, ganze 10 Punkte bekommt. Das komplette Rack besteht, dem zugrunde liegend aus 55 Punkten, sodass ein Spieler mehr als eines benötigt, um siegreich zu sein. Die anfangs erwähnte Innovation geht aber weit über das Punktesystem hinaus, so hat bspw. jeder Protagonist für seine erste Aktion nach dem Break, die Option eines Freeballs, welcher genau wie jeder andere Ball angesagt werden muss!
