Joshua Filler (GER) gewinnt World 9 Ball China Open 2017 im Finale gegen Chang Jung-Lin (TW) mit 11-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Thorsten Hohmann (GER) und Cheng Yu-Hsuan (TW). Bei den Damen gewinnt Chen Siming (CHN) im Finale gegen Liu Shasha (CHN) mit 9-8. Den 3. Platz belegen Fu Xiaofang (CHN) und Chezka Centeno (PHI). Morgen beginnen in Shanghai die World 9 Ball China Open 2017. Die China Open zählen seit Jahren zu den größten Pool Billard Events auf der ganzen Welt. Für die meisten ist dieses Turnier die größtmögliche Herausforderung und der vielleicht größte Titel den man in seiner Karriere gewinnen kann. Nahezu die gesamte Weltelite wird bis zum 11. Juni um diesen begehrten Titel spielen, das Gesamtpreisgeld bei Damen und Herren zusammen beträgt mehr als 370.000$. Titelverteidiger bei den Herren ist Wu Jiaqing aus China, der zweifache Weltmeister gewann im Vorjahr gegen Cheng Yu-Hsuan aus Taiwan mit 11-4. Preview: 2017 GB9 Paul Medati Trophy

Pool players around the UK will be returning to Telford in June as the 9th annual Paul Medati Trophy once again takes place at the Park Inn by Raddison hotel. Players of all disciplines, not least 9-ball and snooker, will have memories of Paul as a player and a genuinely great person. Paul started in the snooker ranks, becoming a professional player in his earlier life before turning to 9-ball. Paul played in the inaugural season of GB9 back in 2008 before sadly losing his battle with cancer shortly afterwards. Paul is remembered as one of the friendliest players on tour and was rarely seen without a smile on his face. The event was dedicated to Paul in 2009 and has been hosted every year since, becoming one of the most sought after titles of the year. 20/05/2017 Mario He takes the title on home turf Austria’s Mario He just clearly defeated Francisco Sanchez-Riuz (ESP) with 9:2 in the final match of the Dynamic Billard Austrian Open in Alpina Wellness & Sports Hotel, St. Johann i.Pg., Austria. Mario He’s way into the final could not have been longer. He lost his opening match and had to take the long road through the loser’s side. 19/05/2017 Peach ousted Kazakis in epic thriller Daryl Peach (GBR) has ousted Alexander Kazakis (GRE) at the Dynamic Billard Austrian Open in Alpina Wellness & Sports Hotel, St. Johann i.Pg., Austria. In the single elimination round of the last remaining 32 players, Peach took down Kazakis with 9:7. After 8 racks, Kazakis had a 6:2 lead over Peach. 18/05/2017 Cohen sneaked past Souquet at Dynamic Billard Austrian Open In a dramatic winner’s round 1 match at the Dynamic Billard Austrian Open in Alpina Wellness & Sports Hotel, St. Johann i.Pg., Austria, between the two grandmasters Ralf Souquet (GER) and Stephan Cohen (FRA), Cohen remained the upper hand and bested Souquet by a whisker with 9:8.
