Dennis Orcollo (PHI) gewinnt US Open 8 Ball Championships 2015 im Finale gegen Mike Dechaine (USA) mit 9-8. Den 3. Platz belegt Rodney Morris (USA). Thorsten Hohmann (GER) gewinnt US Open 10 Ball Championships 2015 im Finale gegen Justin Hall (USA) mit 10-4. Den 3. Platz belegt Shane Van Boening (USA). In der Zeit vom 24. – 31. Juli 2015 werden während der bereits laufenden nationalen US-Meisterschaft die US Open im 8 Ball und 10 Ball ausgetragen. Beide Pool Billard Veranstaltungen werden auf 7 Fuß Diamond Tischen ausgetragen, diese kleinen Tische erfreuen sich in den Staaten immer noch sehr großer Beliebtheit. Bevor es am 24. US Open 10-Ball & 8-Ball Championships Qualifiers!

CueSports International, Henderson, Nevada (April 8, 2015) – CSI encourages you to host a qualifier for the upcoming 2015 US Open 10-Ball and 8-Ball Championships to be held in Las Vegas, NV July 24-31, 2015! Both events will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino during the BCAPL National Championships and be played on 7ft Diamond tables with Cyclop balls. They are open to anyone and no BCAPL or CSI membership is required. Each event will be $15,000 added and limited to the first 128 paid entries. The total prize fund, based on full fields, will be $53,500 for each event and $107,000 total! Additionally, both are USA Team Mosconi Cup points events. The entry fee is only $350 for each event. Both events will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino during the BCAPL National Championships and be played on 7ft Diamond tables with Cyclop balls. These events are open to anyone. Players do not have to be a member of the BCAPL and there are no skill level restrictions. In der Zeit vom 16. – 22. Februar 2015 findet in Reno/Nevada die 22. Auflage der US Bar Championships statt. Dieses Pool Billard Turnier ist in den USA eines der beliebtesten und zählt seit vielen Jahren zu den Highlights in den Staaten. Im Grand Sierra Resort & Casino werden drei Turniere innerhalb von einer Woche ausgetragen. Die Location zählt zum Besten, was man finden kann und auch die Organisation von CueSports International ist jedes Jahr aufs Neue vorbildlich. Diese Meisterschaften auf den kleinen Pool Billard Tischen (7 Fuß) haben in den USA eine lange Tradition und versprechen wie im letzten Jahr spannende und faszinierende Spiele. Die Tische werden von der Firma Diamond gestellt und unterscheiden sich von einem normalen 9 Fuß Turniertisch nur in ihrer Größe. Es ist ziemlich bemerkenswert, was viele der Topspieler auf solchen Tischen, mit diesem geringen Platz, für erstklassige Partien spielen.
