Team Österreich (Albin Ouschan & Mario He) gewinnt 2017 12BET World Cup of Pool im Finale gegen Team USA (Shane Van Boening & Skyler Woodward) mit 10-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Team China (Wi Jiaqing & Dang Jinhu) und Team Taiwan (Ko Pin-Yi & Chang Yu-Lung). Am kommenden Dienstag, den 13. Juni 2017 beginnt in London das wohl spektakulärste Pool Billard Event des Jahres. Die 2017er Ausgabe des World Cup of Pool verspricht wie bei den letzten Austragungen alles was diesen Sport so besonders machen kann, Spannung, Drama, Emotionen und teils unglaubliche Leistungen unter höchstem Druck. Die von Matchroom Sport organisierte 9 Ball Doppel Veranstaltung geht bis zum Sonntag, den 18. Juni 2017 und Titelverteidiger ist das Team aus Taiwan mit Ko Pin-Yi und Chang Yu-Lung. Joshua Filler (GER) gewinnt World 9 Ball China Open 2017 im Finale gegen Chang Jung-Lin (TW) mit 11-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Thorsten Hohmann (GER) und Cheng Yu-Hsuan (TW). Bei den Damen gewinnt Chen Siming (CHN) im Finale gegen Liu Shasha (CHN) mit 9-8. Den 3. Platz belegen Fu Xiaofang (CHN) und Chezka Centeno (PHI). Morgen beginnen in Shanghai die World 9 Ball China Open 2017. Die China Open zählen seit Jahren zu den größten Pool Billard Events auf der ganzen Welt. Für die meisten ist dieses Turnier die größtmögliche Herausforderung und der vielleicht größte Titel den man in seiner Karriere gewinnen kann. Nahezu die gesamte Weltelite wird bis zum 11. Juni um diesen begehrten Titel spielen, das Gesamtpreisgeld bei Damen und Herren zusammen beträgt mehr als 370.000$. Titelverteidiger bei den Herren ist Wu Jiaqing aus China, der zweifache Weltmeister gewann im Vorjahr gegen Cheng Yu-Hsuan aus Taiwan mit 11-4. 26th April – 2017 World Cup of Pool England Teams Confirmed for York Hall World Showdown With the world’s greatest shooters set to gather at the iconic East London venue in June, the two England teams have been confirmed for the forthcoming World Cup of Pool at York Hall, London, June 13-18. Darren Appleton and Mark Gray, both stars of Team Europe’s record-breaking 11-3 victory over USA at December’s Mosconi Cup, will be reunited in the England A team. The host nation is entitled to two sides in the tournament and Daryl Peach will be joined by Imran Majid in England B. Peach was a finalist alongside Gray at the last World Cup and last partnered Majid in 2007. Eklent Kaci (ALB) gewinnt 2017 World Pool Series: 2nd Series im Finale gegen Carlo Biado (PHI) mit 2-0 Sätzen. Den 3. Platz belegen Darren Appleton (GBR) und Jayson Shaw (SCO). Die von Darren Appleton ins Leben gerufene 2017 World Pool Series wird ab morgen in New York mit dem 2. Event ihre Fortsetzung finden. Das erste Turnier dieser 8 Ball Turnierserie wurde von den Teilnehmern sehr gut angenommen. Auch bei den Pool Billard Fans rund um die Welt scheint dieses Konzept relativ gut anzukommen. Beim zweiten Turnier wurde das Turnierformat ein wenig angepasst, das erste Event wurde noch im Einfach-KO Modus mit recht hohen Ausspielzielen ausgetragen. Ab morgen wird bei der zweiten Veranstaltung bis zum Achtelfinale im Doppel-KO System mit geringeren Ausspielzielen gespielt. Bei Gleichstand einer Partie gibt es wie bereits beim ersten Turnier ein sehr interessantes Shoot-Out. Shane Van Boening (USA) gewinnt Open 10 Ball Pro Players Championship 2017 im Finale gegen Johann Chua (PHI). Den 3. Platz belegen Dennis Hatch (USA) und Carlo Biado (PHI). Während in Portugal am Donnerstag der nächste Euro-Tour Stopp stattfindet beginnt in den USA die Super Billards Expo 2017. Teil dieser Billard Messe sind u.a. die Open 10 Ball Pro Players Championship 2017. Neben vielen weiteren Amateur Events in unterschiedlichen Kategorien werden bei diesem Pro Event einige der besten Pool Billard Spieler der Welt aufeinandertreffen und um ein Gesamtpreisgeld von 47.000$ spielen. Während bei den unterschiedlichen Amateur Events mehr als 1.000 Spieler erwartet werden, sind es bei den Open 10 Ball Pro Players Championship lediglich 64 Spieler. Am kommenden Freitag startet in Indiana/USA eines der spektakulärsten Pool Billard Turniere des Jahres. Das Derby City Classic 2017 startet somit in seine insgesamt 19. Ausgabe und ist wie in den letzten Jahren auch eine sehr komplexe und fast schon unüberschaubare Veranstaltung. Die ist eher als Kompliment zu verstehen, Pool Billard total 🙂 In der Zeit vom 20. – 28. Januar 2017 wird von den Teilnehmern alles gefordert. Es vergeht kaum ein Tag, an dem die Spieler nicht an einem Turnier oder Side-Event teilnehmen können. Zusätzlich wird es wie gewohnt beim Derby City Classic viele spannende und hochdotierte Money-Matches geben. Es wird neben der 9 Ball Veranstaltung noch 9 Ball Bank, One Pocket, Straight Pool und viele Mini-Turniere geben, um die Spieler bei Laune zu halten. Gerade bei den Bank oder One Pocket Wettbewerben kommt es sehr häufig zu Überraschungen. Chinakov’s success on Tuesday represents the biggest win of the 23 year old’s career. Since he began his international career at the tender age of just 13 years old, the young Russian, a veritable pool prodigy since the very beginning, has been a fixture on the pro scene around the world.
