Ralf Souquet (GER) gewinnt Italian Open 2017 im Finale gegen Ruslan Chinakhov (RUS) mit 9-5, dies ist sein 22. Euro-Tour Titel! Den 3. Platz belegen Denis Grabe (EST) und Daryl Peach (GBR). Ina Kaplan (GER) gewinnt Italian Womens Open 2017 im Finale gegen Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) mit 7-4. Den 3. Platz belegen Veronika Ivanovskaia (GER) und Katarzyna Wesolowska (POL). Übermorgen beginnt in Treviso die Euro-Tour Saison 2017, endlich muss man sagen. Die Euro-Tour gehört seit vielen Jahren zu der Konstanten in der Pool Billard Szene und wenn man ehrlich ist gibt es nichts Vergleichbares in Europa und dem Rest der Welt. Immer erstklassige Teilnehmerfelder, eine meist sehr schöne Location mit einwandfreien Material und einen mehr als professionellen Livestream von Kozoom. Zudem werden alle Veranstaltungen nach einem strickten Zeitplan durchgeführt, hier wissen die Spieler und Zuschauer wann die Partien exakt ausgetragen werden. 27/11/2016 Another one for Jasmin Jasmin Ouschan just won the Treviso Women Open in BHR Best Western Hotel in Treviso, Italy, with a 7:3 victory over Kamila Khodjaeva (BEL). The final match started with an expected lead for Ouschan. Khodjaeva seemed to be nervous since she missed several possible shots. However, during the course of the match Khodjaeva stayed within close range to Ouschan and the Austrian suddenly started making unnecessary mistakes. When leading 3:2, Ouschan missed an easy 7-ball and allowed Khodjaeva to tie the match at 3:3. After having taken her time-out, Ouschan still seemed to be a bit off track. She missed shots and ran out of position. That all allowed Khodjaeva to keep the match open for a while. However, Ouschan turned out to be the stronger player today since Khodjaeva could not benefit from Ouschan’s mistakes as the match continued. David Alcaide (SPA) gewinnt Treviso Open 2016 im Finale gegen Joshua Filler (GER) mit 9-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Niels Feijen (NED) und Mieszko Fortunski (POL). Bei den Damen gewinnt Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) im Finale gegen Kamila Khodjaeva (BEL) mit 7-3. Den 3. Platz belegen Katarzyna Wesolowska (POL) und Veronika Ivanovskaia (GER). Der letzte Euro-Tour Stop des Jahres findet ab dem kommenden Donnerstag in Treviso/Italien statt. Die Herren spielen vom 24. – 26. November und die Damenveranstaltung geht einen Tag länger bis zum 27. November 2016. 14 Tage vor dem wohl wichtigsten und spannendsten Pool Billard Ereignis überhaupt, dem Mosconi Cup, messen sich in Treviso noch einmal die besten Spieler und Spielerinnen Europas. Bei den Herren sind derzeit knapp 170 Teilnehmer gemeldet und Titelverteidiger ist Mark Gray aus England, er gewann im Vorjahr an gleicher Stelle das Finale gegen Alexander Kazakis (GRE) mit 9-3 –> Treviso Open 2015. 02/10/2016 Feijen terminated them all „The Terminator“ Niels Feijen (NED) just won the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open in Leende, The Netherlands, with a 9:7 victory over David Alcaide (ESP) in the final match. The final match between Feijen and Alcaide began with a break and run from Alcaide. That was the only time that Alcaide had a lead over Feijen for a long time in the match. Feijen came up strong and look a 3:1 lead over Alcaide. But Alcaide stayed in the match, never allowing Feijen to get away too far. After twelve racks, the score was leveled at 6:6. Then Alcaide even got to 7:6 over Feijen. But „The Terminator“ showed a strong will for victory today. In rack 14, Feijen broke and ran out to equalize the score at 7:7. Then, Alcaide had no shot after his break in rack 15 but he tried to force the 1-ball in. 28/09/2016 Dynamic Billard Dutch Open sets sails tomorrow The next Euro-Tour is about to begin tomorrow. 159 players from over 30 countries have announced for the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open 2016 in The Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel, Leende, The Netherlands. For the third time already, the Euro-Tour stops in the Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel in Leende. Though the space is a bit limited and the event can only be played on eleven tables, many players have enrolled for the event as usually when the Euro-Tour comes to The Netherlands. Since less tables than normally are in use, the event lasts one day longer than usually and the final match will be played on Sunday at 17:30 CET. As always, valuable points for the European rankings are at stake as well as 34.000,-€ in prize money. The current leader of the rankings, Mark Gray from Great Britain, still has a comfortable lead over 2nd Albin Ouschan from Austria and 3rd Niels Feijen from The Netherlands. Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt Dutch Open 2016 im Finale gegen David Alcaide (SPA) mit 9-7. Den 3. Platz belegen Wojciech Szewczyk (POL) und Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz (ESP) Auch die Euro-Tour startet nach einer kleinen Sommerpause in den Herbst der Saison. Am nächsten Donnerstag, den 29. September 2016 werden in Leende in den Niederlanden die Dutch Open 2016 eröffnet. Bis zum kommenden Sonntag, den 02. Oktober wird nahezu die komplette europäische Pool Billard Elite in Leende am Start sein. Insgesamt gehen knapp 160 Spieler aus ganz Europa auf die Jagd nach dem Gesamtpreisgeld von 34.000 Euro. In Leende wird wie bereits im letzten Jahr um einen Tag verlängert werden müssen. Im Golden Tulip Jagershorst Hotel stehen den Teilnehmern nur 11 Tische zur Verfügung. Dennoch erwartet uns ein wie immer sehr gut organisiertes Event der EPBF bei der schwersten Pool Billard Tour überhaupt. EPBF introduces European Rankings

13/08/2016 EPBF introduces European Rankings The European Pocket Billiard Federation just implemented as per now the new European Rankings. These rankings will take place of the Euro-Tour rankings with regards to nomination criteria for intercontinental events. So far, the players have been nominated through the Euro-Tour rankings as well as the European Championships for WPA-ranking events and World Championships. The European rankings will be the decider for that from now on, together with the European Championships. The difference between the Euro-Tour rankings and the new European Rankings is that the European Rankings also include B-sanctioned events. All Euro-Tours are included and points get multiplied by 2.0. The B-sanctioned events will get the same points but the factor to multiply them with is 1.5. Maybe from next year and onwards, EPBF will decide to also include C-sanctioned events in the rankings. The first event to get the nominations from the European rankings will be the upcoming Kuwait Open. 06/08/2016 German wonderkid Filler knocks Immonen for eight Joshua Filler (GER), the German wonderkid, just defeated Mika Immonen (FIN) in the single elimination round of the last 32 players of the Dynamic Billard Albanian Open in Tirana, Albania, with 9:7. The result of the match is definitely a surprise but not yet the biggest story about the match. Also the pure fact that Filler won against Immonen in itself is not the biggest upset here. The major surprise of the match is the fact how Filler managed to triumph over Immonen. After eight racks played, Immonen was leading 7:1 (!) over Filler and just needed two more racks to waltz into the round of the last 16 players tomorrow. But then the match turned 180 degrees. Filler did not miss any more shots while Immonen started making mistakes. He scratched while playing a push-out, ran out of position and hooked himself up behind the wrong ball and left safety situations for Filler that the young German was able to run-out. Mateusz Sniegocki (POL) gewinnt Albanian Open 2016 im Finale gegen Joshua Filler (GER) mit 9-4. Den 3. Platz belegen Wojciech Szewczyk (POL) und Ruslan Chinakhov (RUS). Unmittelbar nach der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft in Doha/Katar und der Jugend Europameisterschaft in Tirana/Albanien findet am Freitag, den 05. August 2016 der nächste Euro-Tour Stopp statt. Für die meisten der europäischen Pool Billard Elite sind diese Albanian Open 2016 mit einer Menge Stress verbunden. Am Donnerstag, den 04. August ist der Finaltag der 9 Ball WM und wir dürfen gespannt sein, welche Europäer zu dieser Zeit noch im Turnier sind und ob alle Flieger pünktlich nach Tirana unterwegs sein werden. Spielort der Albanian Open 2016 ist das Tirana Expo Center und das Teilnehmerfeld ist mit 150 Meldungen erneut sehr gut besetzt. Das letzte Euro-Tour Event, die North Cyprus Open 2016, gewann der Österreicher Mario He im Finale gegen Nikos Ekonomopoulos aus Griechenland mit 9-5.
