Ralf Souquet (GER) gewinnt Klagenfurt Open 2017 im Finale gegen Sebastian Ludwig (GER) mit 9-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Mateusz Sniegocki (POL) und Denis Grabe (EST). Chen Siming (CHN) gewinnt Klagenfurt Womens Open 2017 im Finale gegen Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) mit 7-4. Den 3. Platz belegen Kateryna Polovinchuk (UKR) und Ina Kaplan (GER). Vom 05. – 07. Oktober 2017 trifft sich in Klagenfurt/Österreich die europäische Pool Billard Elite um beim nächsten Euro-Tour Stopp einen weiteren Sieger zu ermitteln. Viele der besten Spieler Europas werden um das Gesamtpreisgeld von 36.000 Euro spielen. Bei den Klagenfurt Open 2017 geht es nicht nur um viele Punkte für das Euro-Tour Ranking sondern auch um eine bessere Platzierung im Mosconi Cup Ranking. Das Euro-Tour Ranking wird wie bereits vor dem letzten Euro-Tour Stopp vom amtierenden World Pool Masters Champion David Alcaide aus Spanien angeführt, dicht gefolgt von Ruslan Chinakhov aus Russland und Joshua Filler aus Deutschland. Ruslan Chinakhov (RUS) gewinnt Dutch Open 2017 im Finale gegen Christoph Reintjes (GER) mit 9-4. Den 3. Platz belegen Sergey Lutsker (RUS) und Albin Ouschan (AUT). Die Dutch Womens Open 2017 gewinnt Marharyta Fefilava (BLR) im Finale gegen Oliwia Czuprynska mit 7-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Eylul Kibaroglu (TUR) und Yvonne Ullmann (GER). Vom 10. – 13. August 2017 trifft sich in Leende/Niederlande die europäischen Pool Billard Elite um beim nächsten Euro-Tour Stopp einen weiteren Sieger zu ermitteln. 15/06/2017 Vote for EPBF Youth Player of the Year is open Starting today, fans can vote for their favourite player in the youth division to conquer the coveted title of EPBF Youth Player of the Year 2016. Five candidates have been nominated for the title: Sanjin Pehlivanovic The youngster from Bosnia & Hercegovina has won EC Champion titles in 8-ball and 10-ball in the Under 17 last year. He also took the Bronze Medal in Straight Pool. Furthermore, he achieved a 3rd place finish in the WPA World Youth Championships. Maxim Dudanets Russia’s Maxim Dudanets took the 3rd place in the WPA World Youth Championship Under 19 and became European 10-ball Champion Under 19. Additionally, he finished 2nd in 9-ball and Straight Pool. Kristina Tkach The young girl from Russian is a very talented and uprising player who also already earns her merits in the women’s division. 26/05/2017 Europe Announces 2017 Atlantic Challenge Cup Team Captains To Be Announced In Coming Weeks The European Pocket Billiard Federation today announced its team to face the Americans during this year’s staging of the Atlantic Challenge Cup taking place 5 – 8, July, 2017 in Klagenfurt, Austria. The European team consists of Russia’s Maksim Dudanets, Poland’s Daniel Maciol and Wiktor Zielinski and Germany’s Patrick Hoffman. On the girls’ side are Russia’s Kristina Tkach and Belgium’s Diana Khodjaeva. Maksim and Kristina have qualified for the European team for the third time and played key roles in both of Europe’s Atlantic Challenge Cup victories. “No player will take our 2015 and 2016 victories for granted” said EPBF president Gre Leenders. “They have the upmost respect for the American players and know that what happened in the past is history. 21/05/2017 Jasmin Ouschan completes Austrian victory Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) just won the Dynamic Billard Austria Women’s Open in Alpina Wellness & Sports Hotel, St. Johann i.Pg., Austria, with a clear 7:2 victory over Veronika Ivanovskaia (GER). She was and is the powerhouse in European women’s pool billiard. Jasmin Ouschan has just completed the Austrian victory in St. Johann i.Pg. After Mario He’s victory from yesterday, she did not fall short and took the title in the women’s version of the Euro-Tour. Ouschan had a good start into the tournament. She took her first three victories impressively clear with 7:0 over Anne Darda (GER), 7:2 against Kateryna Polovinchuk (UKR) and 7:1 against Martine Christiansen (NOR). Die Austria Womens Open 2017 gewinnt Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) im Finale gegen Veronika Ivanovskaia (GER) mit 7-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Kristina Tkach (RUS) und Tina Vogelmann (GER). Die anspruchsvollste Pool Billard Tour der Welt macht ihren nächsten Stopp in Österreich. Die Austria Open 2017 finden vom 18. – 20. Mai 2017 in St. Johann statt. 01/04/2017 Van den Berg and Ouschan win the Portuguese Dynamic Open The winners of the Portuguese Dynamic Billard Open are Nick van den Berg (NED) and Jasmin Ouschan (AUT). Nick van den Berg had a huge mountain to climb today. He had really big obstacles in the way on his quest for the glory. Before he met David Alcaide (ESP) in the final match, he had to overcome Vitaly Patsura (UKR) in a heartbreaker with 9:8, then Tomasz Kaplan (POL) 9:6 and in the semi-final match Mark Gray (GBR) with 9:3. Van den Berg played extremely well and solid and this also continued in the final match. Alcaide could not get into the match and missed a few easy shots in the early stage of the match. 27/03/2017 Austria and Russia take Gold Medals in Team competition At the Dynamic Billard European Championships for Men, Women and Wheelchair Athletes in the Salgados Palace Hotel in Albufeira, Portugal, the Women’s Team from Russia and the Men’s Team from Austria have won the Gold medals in their respective division. In the men’s division, Team Austria met Team Finland in the final match. The Austrians had ousted the strong Polish Team in their semi-final 2:0 while the Finnish have taken down Team Spain 2:1. The first point for Austria was in the books very quickly. Albin Ouschan won his 9-ball match over Kim Laaksonen 9:2 in just under one hour. That brought Austria the 1:0 lead. Then, Petri Makkonen rode the winning wave over Maximilian Lechner in 10-ball with 8:4. The 8-ball match between Mario He and Jani Uski had to decide. Nick van den Berg (NED) gewinnt Portugal Open 2017 im Finale gegen David Alcaide (SPA) mit 8-5. Den 3. Platz belegen Mark Gray (GBR) und Ralf Souquet (GER). Die Portugal Women Open 2017 gewinnt Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) im Finale gegen Kristina Tkach (RUS) mit 7-3. Den 3. Platz belegen Ina Kaplan (GER) und Katarzyna Wesolowska (POL). Direkt im Anschluss an die derzeit laufende Pool Billard Europameisterschaft findet an gleicher Stelle, in Albufeira/Portugal, der nächste Euro-Tour Stopp statt. Vom 30. März bis zum 01. April 2017 wird es für sehr viele EM Teilnehmer direkt weitergehen. Im Moment sind mehr als 180 Teilnehmer für die Portugal Open 2017 angemeldet und dies verspricht, wie bereits von der Euro-Tour gewohnt, spannende und hochklassige Partien. Die letzte Euro-Tour Veranstaltung vor einigen Wochen konnte der deutsche Ausnahmespieler Ralf Souquet für sich entscheiden, er bezwang im Finale der Italy Open 2017 Ruslan Chinakhov aus Russland mit 9-5.
