Mark Gray (GBR) gewinnt Treviso Open 2015 im Finale gegen Alexander Kazakis (GRE) mit 9-3. Den 3. Platz belegen Oliver Ortmann (GER) und Mats Schjetne (NOR). Die Treviso Womens Open 2015 gewinnt Oliwia Czuprynska (POL) im Finale gegen Kataryna Polovinchik (UKR) mit 7-2. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Ina Kaplan (GER) und Marika Poikkijoki (FIN). Zwei Wochen vor dem Mosconi Cup 2015 findet in Treviso der letzte Euro-Tour Stop des Jahres 2015 statt. Vom 26. – 28. November 2015 wird im BHR-Hotel in Treviso erneut eines der größten europäischen Pool Billard Turniere ausgetragen und bei den Herren liegen bislang knapp 180 Meldungen vor. So ziemlich alles, was Rang und Namen hat in der europäischen Pool Billard Szene, wird auf die Jagd nach dem Gesamtpreisgeld von 34.000 Euro gehen. Titelverteidiger bei diesem Euro-Tour Event ist der neunmalige Euro-Tour Sieger und diesjährige Mosconi Cup Teilnehmer Nick van den Berg aus den Niederlanden. Albin Ouschan (AUT) gewinnt Dutch Open 2015 im Finale gegen Imran Majid (GBR) mit 9-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Sebastian Ludwig (GER) und Jonni Fulcher (GBR). Nach der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft in Doha und dem World Cup of Pool 2015, der gestern in London zu Ende gegangen ist, findet vom 01. – 04. Oktober 2015 in Leende/Niederlande der nächste Euro-Tour Stop statt. Die Dutch Open 2015 werden im Golden Tulip Hotel Jagershorst ausgetragen und bereits jetzt sind mehr als 170 Spieler aus ganz Europa gemeldet. Wie gewohnt von der Euro-Tour ist nahezu alles, was Rang und Namen hat, im europäischen Pool Billard Sport in Leende am Start, nur ganz wenige Namen wird man auf der Teilnehmerliste vermissen. 15th August – 2015 PartyPoker World Pool Masters Waleed Majid (QAT) 8-4 Daryl Peach (ENG) Ko Pin Yi (TPE) 5-8 Mark Gray (ENG) Darren Appleton (ENG) 8-4 Mateusz Sniegocki (POL) Mosconi Cup team mates Darren Appleton and Mark Gray both enjoyed first round wins at the 2015 PartyPoker World Pool Masters as first round play continued on Saturday afternoon at the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester. First Gray turned over highly fancied Ko Pin Yi in an upset and then Darren made light work of Poland’s Mateusz Sniegocki. Earlier England’s Daryl Peach was ousted by up-and-coming Qatari star Waleed Majid. In the opening match of the session, seeded player Waleed Majid took care of an out-of-sorts Daryl Peach (England) by an 8-4 score line. There were plenty of errors as each player gifted the other chances as the score moved to 3-3. 4th August – 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup Niels Feijen took a commanding lead at the top of the European Mosconi Cup ranking list after winning his second Euro Tour title of the year at the weekend. The Dutchman was MVP at last year’s PartyPoker Mosconi Cup, which saw Europe earn an 11-5 victory over Team USA in front of a record-breaking crowd in Blackpool, England and he had already won the Italian Open on the Euro Tour earlier this year. His win in the Dynamic Austria Open at the weekend saw him open up a 14-point lead at the top of the Euro Tour ranking list, meaning a quarter-final or better finish on home soil at the Dynamic Dutch Open in October will guarantee him a spot on this year’s European team. Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt Austrian Open 2015 im Finale gegen Joshua Filler (GER) mit 9-7. Den 3. Platz belegen Sebastian Ludwig (GER) und Francisco Diaz-Pizarro (SPA). Im Anschluss an die derzeit laufende Pool Billard Europameisterschaft der Junioren in Österreich findet der 4. Euro-Tour Stopp der Saison statt. Im sehr schönen Alpina Sporthotel in St. Johann haben sich bislang mehr als 230 Teilnehmer gemeldet und diese werden vom 30. Juli – 01. August 2015 um das Gesamtpreisgeld von 34.000€ spielen. Die letzte Euro-Tour fand zuletzt Anfang Juni im nordhessischen Baunatal statt und der Gewinner der German Open 2015 hieß am Ende Petri Makkonen aus Finnland, er bezwang im Finale Konrad Juszczyszyn aus Polen mit 9-3. Wir sind gespannt ob Petri Makkonen seine gute Form halten konnte und auch in St. Johann eine Siegchance haben wird. Albin Ouschan overpowered the Canadian top player John Morra (CAN) with 11:8 and obtained the crown of the 2015 China Open. John Morra did not have smooth sailing in the tournament. To the contrary, he lost his first match with Vietnamese Do Thekien 5:7. And had to make his way through the loser’s side. He came up with an impressing performance, overcame Marc Bijsterbosch (NED) 11:8, Warren Kiamco (PHI) 11:9, Fu Jianbo (CHN) 11:10 and Nick van den Berg of Netherlands with 11:8, booked a seat in the final match with Albin Ouschan. Ouschan’s first match played against Jalal Yousef from Chile. Ouschan ended up well, and defeated Yousef with 9:6.
