Ko Pin-Yi (TW) gewinnt 46th All Japan Championship 2013 im Finale gegen Chang Jung-Lin (TW) mit 11-10. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Thorsten Hohmann (GER) und Johann Gonzales Chua (PHI). Bei den Damen gewinnt Akimi Kajitani (JAP) im Finale gegen Chihiro Kawahara (JAP) mit 9-7. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Tsai Pei Chen (TW) und Chou Chieh Yu (TW). Morgen beginnt in Amagasaki City, Hyogo/Japan die 46. Ausgabe der All Japan Championship 2013. Bei diesem recht hoch dotierten Turnier in Japan ist es jedes Jahr aufs Neue sehr schwer an Informationen zu kommen. There were wins for Finland, Canada and Taiwan as Mika Immonen, Alex Pagulayan and Chang Jung-lin all enjoyed victories. There are two more first round matches to take place this evening in the three day $66,000 event but the final match of the session saw an England v Taiwan clash as Blackpool’s Daryl Peach met Chang Jung-lin, the 2012 World 8 Ball Champion and it ended in a close victory for the Taiwanese after he clawed back a big deficit. Ausgabe der US Open 9 Ball Championships findet vom 13. – 19. Oktober 2013 im Marriott Hotel in Chesapeake statt. Stand heute, den 12. Oktober sind mehr als 160 Teilnehmer gemeldet. Dieses sehr traditionsreiche Pool Billard 9 Ball Turnier ist dass einzige weltweit das seit mehr als 30 Jahren ohne Unterbrechung stattfindet. Es gilt als eines der am schwersten zu gewinnenden Turniere überhaupt und hat den Stellenwert einer Weltmeisterschaft. Der erste Sieger der US Open 9 Ball 1976 war Mike Sigel (USA). They won five racks in a row from 2-1 down to seal victory, after Austria, represented by Jasmine and Albin Ouschan, looked set to go 3-1 ahead.
