Team Europe gewinnt Mosconi Cup 2015 mit 11-7. MVP der Veranstaltung wurde Niels Feijen (NED). Wie in jedem Dezember warten alle Pool Billard Fans auf das absolute Highlight des Jahres. Der 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup verspricht auch in diesem Jahr erneut alles in den Schatten zu stellen. Vom 07. – 10. Dezember 2015 werden in Las Vegas bei der 22. Ausgabe des Mosconi Cup die Teams aus den USA und Europa bei dieser Matchroom Sport Veranstaltung für ein außergewöhnliches Spektakel sorgen. Zugegeben, in letzten Jahren war der Mosconi Cup relativ einseitig und wurde sehr von den Europäern dominiert. Team Europa gewann die letzten fünf Begegnungen relativ deutlich. Die Treviso Womens Open 2015 gewinnt Oliwia Czuprynska (POL) im Finale gegen Kataryna Polovinchik (UKR) mit 7-2. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Ina Kaplan (GER) und Marika Poikkijoki (FIN). Zwei Wochen vor dem Mosconi Cup 2015 findet in Treviso der letzte Euro-Tour Stop des Jahres 2015 statt. Vom 26. – 28. November 2015 wird im BHR-Hotel in Treviso erneut eines der größten europäischen Pool Billard Turniere ausgetragen und bei den Herren liegen bislang knapp 180 Meldungen vor. 3rd November – 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup Final Rankings for the Europeans WITH A last-gasp runners-up finish at the US Open, Karl Boyes, the ebullient Englishman, stole the final automatic qualifying spot from under the noses of more fancied rivals. And it now sets him up for his fourth PartyPoker Mosconi Cup appearance next month. With Albin Ouschan topping both World and Combined Rankings after a magnificent second half of the year, and Niels Feijen winning the Euro Tour Ranking, the selection of the third spot reverted to the Combined Ranking. Feijen already occupied second spot so the final automatic berth went to the No.3 on that list which was Boyes. The two wild card picks went to England’s Darren Appleton, who won the WPA World Chinese 8 Ball Championship earlier in the year and Holland’s Nick Van den Berg who was the next highest placed player on the Combined Rankings following the final qualifying event in Virginia. Die US Open 9 Ball Championships sind jedes Jahr neben der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft und den Matchroom Events, wie Mosconi Cup oder World Cup of Pool, die größte Herausforderung überhaupt. Darren Appleton (GBR) gewinnt American 14.1 Straight Pool Championship 2015 im Finale gegen Thorsten Hohmann (GER) mit 150-94. Den 3. Platz belegen Mika Immonen (FIN) und Warren Kiamco (PHI). Kurz vor den US Open 9 Ball Championship 2015 machen einige der besten Pool Billard Spieler noch einen kurzen Stop in Midlothian/Virginia, um sich weitere Wettkampfpraxis für eines der größten Turniere der Welt zu holen. Die American 14.1 Straight Pool Championship 2015 sind die letzte Möglichkeit vom 22. – 25. Oktober 2015 an der Form zu arbeiten. Bereits im letzten Jahr war dieses Turnier sehr gut besucht. Doch in diesem Jahr ist der Termin auch für viele andere Pros aus der ganzen Welt ziemlich gut platziert. 6th October – 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup Feijen set for MC Number 11 FOLLOWING ON from his last 16 finish at the recent Dutch Open on the Euro Tour, Holland’s much decorated Niels Feijen can ready himself for his 11th appearance pulling on the blue European jersey at PartyPoker Mosconi Cup XXII at the Tropicana in December. The athletic Dutchman first competed in 2001 when Europe was hammered at the York Hall. His next two appearances also saw defeat before he became part of the group of European players who enjoyed almost total domination of the event from 2007 onwards. The 38 year-old Feijen will become tied third on the European list of appearances as well as tied fifth on the Mosconi Cup all-time appearances list.
