Chang Yu-Lung (TPE) gewinnt 4th Annual Steinway Classic 2015 im Finale gegen Ko Ping-Chung (TPE) mit 13-11. Den 3. Platz belegt Jayson Shaw (SCO). Das nächste Pool Billard Highlight im internationalen Turnierkalender findet direkt im Anschluss an die derzeit noch laufenden US Open 9 Ball statt. Bei den US Open stehen die letzten Matches auf dem Programm und in New York werden die Vorbereitungen für die 4. Ausgabe der Steinway Classic abgeschlossen. Dieses 10 Ball Turnier ist terminlich für viele US Open Teilnehmer ideal platziert. Bevor die meisten Pro’s die Heimreise antreten bietet sich vom 01. – 03. November 2015 im Steinway Billiards eine weitere Chance auf ein Top-Turnier und einer Menge Preisgeld. Cheng Yu-Hsuan (TPE) gewinnt US Open 9 Ball Championships 2015 im Finale gegen Karl Boyes (GBR) mit 13-6. Den 3. Platz belegt Liu Haitao (CHN) vor Ralf Souquet (GER) auf Platz 4. Vom 25. – 30. Oktober 2015 findet im Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel eines der Pool Billard Highlights des Jahres statt. Die US Open 9 Ball Championships sind jedes Jahr neben der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft und den Matchroom Events, wie Mosconi Cup oder World Cup of Pool, die größte Herausforderung überhaupt. In den letzten Jahren waren die US Open immer sehr gut besucht, allerdings ist die diesjährige 40. Ausgabe der US Open so gut besetzt wie nie zuvor. In der Zeit vom 16. – 22. Februar 2015 findet in Reno/Nevada die 22. Auflage der US Bar Championships statt. Dieses Pool Billard Turnier ist in den USA eines der beliebtesten und zählt seit vielen Jahren zu den Highlights in den Staaten. Im Grand Sierra Resort & Casino werden drei Turniere innerhalb von einer Woche ausgetragen. Die Location zählt zum Besten, was man finden kann und auch die Organisation von CueSports International ist jedes Jahr aufs Neue vorbildlich. Diese Meisterschaften auf den kleinen Pool Billard Tischen (7 Fuß) haben in den USA eine lange Tradition und versprechen wie im letzten Jahr spannende und faszinierende Spiele. Die Tische werden von der Firma Diamond gestellt und unterscheiden sich von einem normalen 9 Fuß Turniertisch nur in ihrer Größe. 2014 Betway World Cup of Pool – England B through as US and Philippines make quarters 25 September Round 1 England B 7 – 6 India Round 2 Philippines 7 – 5 France USA 7 – 5 Russia ENGLAND B completed the list of round one victors at the 2014 Betway World Cup of Pool as they squeezed past India at the Mountbatten Centre, Portsmouth on Thursday evening. There were also second round wins for the Philippines and USA who both take their place in Saturday’s quarter-final draw. In probably the most entertaining match of the tournament so far, the England B side of Chris Melling and Daryl Peach put paid to Indian hopes by the odd rack in 13 to give themselves a second round match-up against China. The Indian duo of Raj Hundal and Amar Kang were making their fourth appearance in the event as a pair and both sides looked in good shape. Team England A (Darren Appleton/Karl Boyes) gewinnt Betway World Cup of Pool 2014 im Finale gegen Team Holland (Niels Feijen/Nick van den Berg) mit 10-9. Bereits im letzten Jahr mussten sich Niels Feijen und Nick van den Berg im Finale geschlagen geben. Den 3. Platz belegen die Teams aus Finnland (Mika Immonen/Petri Makkonen) und Team Österreich (Albin Ouschan/Mario He). 18th September, 888.com World Cup of Pool 2013 US, Singapore through as India win thriller USA 7-5 Kuwait Singapore 7-5 Poland India 7-6 Canada THERE WAS some superb drama at the 888.com World Cup of Pool this evening as India came through a hill-hill thriller against Canada to move through to the next round where they will meet Holland on Friday evening. The York Hall was packed to the rafters with fired-up Indian fans and their team gave them plenty to cheer about in the end. Earlier in the evening, Team USA overcame an early stutter to find their feet and comeback to beat Kuwait to advance to the last 16 of the 888.com World Cup Pool. Shane Van Boening was a little anxious in advance as his partner Johnny Archer had left it very late to arrive in London but all was well in the end as they looked a smooth unit in the closing stages.
