Four more for the Big Score Taiwan’s Chang, Austria’s Ouschan, the Netherland’s Feijen, and the Philippines‘ Haya storm into the semi-finals of the 2014 World 9-ball Championship in Doha. By Ted Lerner/WPA Press Officer Photos Courtesy of Richard Walker (Doha, Qatar)–After a marathon day of pressure packed championship pool played at the highest levels, Taiwan’s Chang Yu-Lung, the Netherlands Niels Feijen, Austria’s Albin Ouschan, and the Philippines Elmer D. Haya all barged into the semi-finals of the 2014 World 9-ball Championship in Doha. Both semi-finals feature east vs. west scenarios. In one race to eleven, alternate break match, Chang will lock horns with Albin Ouschan. In the other semi, which will be played concurrently, Feijen will do battle with Haya. Both matches will begin at 1:30pm Doha time(GMT +3). The final will be a race to 13, alternate break and will begin at 5pm. Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt 2014 WPA World 9 Ball Championship im Finale gegen Albin Ouschan (AUT) mit 13-10 und sichert sich den begehrtesten Pool Billard Titel der Welt. Den 3. Platz belegen Elmer D. Haya (PHI) und China Open 2014 Champion Chang Yu-Lung (TPE). Ab dem 16. Juni 2014 findet in Doha/Katar die 2014 WPA World 9 Ball Championship statt. Die 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft der Herren gilt zusammen mit den China Open als eines der interessantesten und spannendsten Pool Billard Events im ganzen Jahr. Bis zum 27. Juni werden im Al Saad Sports Club in Doha die besten Pool Spieler aus der ganzen Welt um den wohl begehrtesten Titel der Szene kämpfen. Chang Yu-Lung (TPE) gewinnt World 9 Ball China Open 2014 im Finale gegen Jeffrey Ignacio (PHI) mit 11-9. Den 3. Platz belegen Carlo Biado (PHI) und Chang Rong-Lin (TPE). Bei den Damen gewinnt die amtierende 9 Ball Weltmeisterin Yu Han (CHN) im Finale gegen Ga Young Kim (KOR) mit 9-5. Den 3. Platz belegen Liu Shasha (CHN) und Chen Siming (CHN). Am kommenden Sonntag, den 01. Juni 2014 beginnt eines der größten Pool Billard Turniere des Jahres. Die World 9 Ball China Open 2014 gehören zu den besten Events im Kalender. Für viele Teilnehmer ist diese 9 Ball Veranstaltung das schwierigste Turnier des Jahres. Bis zum 08. Ko Pin-Yi (TW) gewinnt 46th All Japan Championship 2013 im Finale gegen Chang Jung-Lin (TW) mit 11-10. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Thorsten Hohmann (GER) und Johann Gonzales Chua (PHI). Bei den Damen gewinnt Akimi Kajitani (JAP) im Finale gegen Chihiro Kawahara (JAP) mit 9-7. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Tsai Pei Chen (TW) und Chou Chieh Yu (TW). Morgen beginnt in Amagasaki City, Hyogo/Japan die 46. Ausgabe der All Japan Championship 2013. Bei diesem recht hoch dotierten Turnier in Japan ist es jedes Jahr aufs Neue sehr schwer an Informationen zu kommen. Scheinbar legt man in Japan keinerlei Wert darauf das die Pool Billard Seiten dieser Welt mit Informationen versorgt werden. Leider wird auch auf Emails in keinster Weise geantwortet. Vieles bleibt im verborgenen und muss mühsam im Internet zusammengesucht werden. Die 46. 26th October, 2013 PartyPoker World Pool Masters Wins for Mika, Alex and Chang Mika Immonen (FIN) 8-6 Efren Reyes (PHI) Alex Pagulayan (CAN) 8-2 Ga Young Kim (KOR) Chang Jung-lin (TPE) 8-6 Daryl Peach (ENG) THREE MORE matches took place this afternoon at the Barnsley Metrodome as the opening round of the 2013 PartyPoker World Pool Masters continued. There were wins for Finland, Canada and Taiwan as Mika Immonen, Alex Pagulayan and Chang Jung-lin all enjoyed victories. There are two more first round matches to take place this evening in the three day $66,000 event but the final match of the session saw an England v Taiwan clash as Blackpool’s Daryl Peach met Chang Jung-lin, the 2012 World 8 Ball Champion and it ended in a close victory for the Taiwanese after he clawed back a big deficit.
