Chang Yu-Lung (TPE) gewinnt 4th Annual Steinway Classic 2015 im Finale gegen Ko Ping-Chung (TPE) mit 13-11. Den 3. Platz belegt Jayson Shaw (SCO). Das nächste Pool Billard Highlight im internationalen Turnierkalender findet direkt im Anschluss an die derzeit noch laufenden US Open 9 Ball statt. Bei den US Open stehen die letzten Matches auf dem Programm und in New York werden die Vorbereitungen für die 4. Ausgabe der Steinway Classic abgeschlossen. Dieses 10 Ball Turnier ist terminlich für viele US Open Teilnehmer ideal platziert. Bevor die meisten Pro’s die Heimreise antreten bietet sich vom 01. – 03. November 2015 im Steinway Billiards eine weitere Chance auf ein Top-Turnier und einer Menge Preisgeld. Einige der besten Pool Billard Spieler aus Europa und Asien sind natürlich noch nicht abgereist und werden versuchen dem Vorjahressieger Warren Kiamco (PHI) den Titel streitig zu machen. Cheng Yu-Hsuan (TPE) gewinnt US Open 9 Ball Championships 2015 im Finale gegen Karl Boyes (GBR) mit 13-6. Den 3. Platz belegt Liu Haitao (CHN) vor Ralf Souquet (GER) auf Platz 4. Vom 25. – 30. Oktober 2015 findet im Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel eines der Pool Billard Highlights des Jahres statt. Die US Open 9 Ball Championships sind jedes Jahr neben der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft und den Matchroom Events, wie Mosconi Cup oder World Cup of Pool, die größte Herausforderung überhaupt. In den letzten Jahren waren die US Open immer sehr gut besucht, allerdings ist die diesjährige 40. Ausgabe der US Open so gut besetzt wie nie zuvor. Mike Dechaine (USA) gewinnt 1st Annual Gotham City Billiards 9 Ball Pro Classic 2015 im Finale gegen Warren Kiamco (PHI) mit 13-10. Den 3. Platz belegt Jason Klatt (CAN). Am nächsten Samstag fällt in Brooklyn/New York der Startschuss zu einer Reihe von hochkarätigen Pool Billard Turnieren in den USA. Den Anfang macht vom 17. – 19. Oktober das 1st Annual Gotham City Billiards 9 Ball Pro Classic 2015. Einen Titel hat dieses 9 Ball Turnier definitiv schon sicher, nämlich den des längsten Turniernamens 😉 Dieses Pool Billard Turnier im Herzen New Yorks ist mit 64 Teilnehmern hervorragend besetzt und viele Topstars aus den USA, Asien und Europa versuchen hier bereits eine gute Form für die weiteren Aufgaben zu bekommen. Today’s three sessions were given over to all winners’ side matches in the 16 groups with 32 spots available in the coveted single elimination round of 64, which begins on Wednesday. Losers in Monday’s matches knew they’d be given another chance to advance on Tuesday so the brutal pressure of judgement day, where every match is do-or-die, wasn’t quite as bad. Singapore’s 19 year old Aloisius Yapp has been on the international scene for about a handful of years, but was never really noted for much more than an interesting sounding name. Ko Pin-Yi (TW) gewinnt 2015 WPA World 9 Ball Championship im Finale gegen Shane Van Boening (USA) mit 13-11. Den 3. Platz belegen Ko Ping-Chung (TW) und Wu Jiaqing (CHN). Ab dem 07. September 2015 wird in Doha/Katar die diesjährige 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft ausgetragen. Die 2015 WPA World 9 Ball Championship läuft bis zum 18. September 2015 und es werden so ziemlich alle Stars der Pool Billard Welt in Doha anzutreffen sein. Die 9 Ball WM gehört jedes zu den Events mit der größten Strahlkraft und dem größten Prestige. Und kaum ein anderes Turnier ist wohl so schwer zu gewinnen wie die Titelkämpfe im Al Arabi Sports Club. Das Turning Stone Classic ist in den letzten Jahren zu einem der attraktivsten Pool Billard Turniere in den USA gereift. Es gibt nicht viele US Pool Billard Turniere, die ein solches Teilnehmerfeld an den Start bringen. Gespielt wird wie in den letzten Jahren natürlich im Turning Stone Resort & Casino.
