Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) gewinnt Treviso Women Open 2014 im Finale gegen Ina Kaplan (GER) mit 7-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Oliwia Czuprynska (POL) und Katarzyna Wesolowska (POL). Zeitgleich mit den Treviso Open 2014, dem letzten Euro-Tour Stop der Herren, findet ebenfalls der letzte Tour Stop der Damen in Treviso statt. Vom 13. – 14. Dezember 2014 werden im schönen BHR Hotel auch die besten Damen Europas, um einen der letzten großen Titel im Jahr 2014 spielen. Es sind mittlerweile mehr als 40 europäische Topspielerinnen für die Treviso Women Open 2014 gemeldet. Die letzte Euro-Tour Station der Damen liegt bereits einige Monate zurück, im August gewann Jasmin Ouschan aus Österreich die Slovenian Women Open 2014 im Finale gegen Monika Margeta (SWE) mit 6-0. Jasmin Ouschan führt im Euro-Tour Damen Ranking ziemlich deutlich vor der deutschen Top-Spielerin Kristina Schagan, Caroline Roos aus Schweden und Ana Mazhirina aus Russland. Nick van den Berg (NED) gewinnt Treviso Open 2014 im Finale gegen Niels Feijen (NED) mit 9-3. Den 3. Platz belegen Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz (ESP) und Kevin Becker (GER). Der letzte Euro-Tour Stop des Jahres findet in dieser Woche vom 11. – 13. Dezember 2014 statt. Das BHR Hotel in Treviso war in den letzten 12 Monaten öfters Austragungsort einer Euro-Tour. Die letzte Auflage der Treviso Open im Jahre 2013 gewann Nick van den Berg (NED) im Finale gegen Phil Burford (GBR) mit 8-5. Auch bei den Treviso Open 2014 zählt der im Euro-Tour Ranking führende Nick van den Berg zu den ganz heißen Favoriten auf den Sieg in der nähe von Venedig. Bei den Treviso Open 2014 sind bislang mehr als 140 Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa gemeldet. Four medals for Team Europe and a chance for a title 18/11/2014 The two remaining European players on the loser’s side in this year’s World 9-Ball Championships for Youth in Shanghai, China, were Raphael Wahl (GER) and Patryk Statkiewicz (POL). Wahl met S. Myanganbayer (MON) in the loser’s qualification round. It was a one-sided match in favor of the German and even with a few mistakes committed, Wahl easily took the match with 9:3. Statkiewicz had a tougher opponent to face. Hsu Jui An (TPE) also wanted a spot in the single elimination stage of the event. The match was a tough battle between the two players. After 13 racks, the score was 7:6 in favor of Hsu. It was Statkiewicz’s break then. Both players seemed to be nervous and played bad shots. Hsu was able to win that rack and got on the hill with 8:6. Team Europe still on track but first players have dropped out 16/11/2014 Team Europe is still in a nice shape at the WPA World 9-Ball Championships for Under 19’s, Under 17’s and Girls which is currently held in Shanghai, China. In the girls division, Kristina Tkach (RUS) and Marharyta Fefilava (BKR) were able to win their matches on the loser’s side. Tkach ousted Rachel Lang (USA) 7:1 and then had a thriller coming up against Xiong Shi Yan (CHN). Tkach took an early 3:1 lead but Xiong was able to pull back two racks from her to tie the match at 3:3. Tkach took a timeout and got some momentum from it. She took another two rack lead to turn the scoreboard to 5:3 in her favor. But China’s Xiong turned out to be a real tough fighter. She struck back and managed to tie the match at 6:6. Youth World 9-Ball Championships on in Shanghai, China 16/11/2014 The European Youth squad with the Youth Sports Director Sandra Hanf (GER) as their leader and Piotr Kedzior (POL) as support is currently trying to repeat their outstanding results from last year. The divisions are Under 17’s, Under 19’s and Girls. There are 24 players participating in each division, representing a total of 28 nations Under 19’s Joshua Filler (GER) had a walk over in his first round. He then got the better of Samuel Hui Sim/Zhong (SIN) with 9:4. The balls were rolling in his favor in that match. His teammate and fellow countryman Raphael Wahl (GER) had a perfect start with a 9:1 victory over Nasie Kotze (RSA). In the second round, Wahl met Liu Hao Wei (TPE). The match was really close and a tough fight for both players. After 14 racks, the score was tied at 7:7. Then Liu managed to get the upper hand and win the match with 9:7. Kazakis ousts Boyes at the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open

The Dynamic Eurotour – Dutch Open – 1-4 oct 2014 03/10/2014 Alexander Kazakis (GRE) got the better of Karl Boyes (GBR), ousting the Brit with 9:8 from the Dynamic Billard Dutch Open Euro-Tour event in Leende, The Netherlands. Kazakis got drawn into the round of the last 32 players since he lost in the winner’s qualification round to his friend and teammate Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE) with 6:9. However, Boyes was the seeded player who came undefeated through the loser’s round. He surely was the favored player in this match. But having in mind the high level and widely spread quality of the Euro-Tour players, nothing can be taken for granted these days. Kazakis has earned his merits in the past and is known to be a fighter. And the match turned out to be a tough fight. Both players did not give anything away for free. Mark Gray (GBR) gewinnt Dutch Open 2014 im Finale gegen Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE) mit 9-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Mario He (AUT) und Alexander Kazakis (GRE). In der Zeit vom 01. – 04. Oktober 2014 finden in Leende bei Eindhoven die Dutch Open 2014 statt. Einen Tag früher als gewohnt beginnt dieser Euro-Tour Stop bereits an einem Mittwoch. Es stehen im Hotel Golden Tulip Jagershorst lediglich elf Pool Billard Tische zur Verfügung, das zwingt die EPBF (European Pocket Billiard Federation) dazu einen Tag früher mit den ersten Runden zu beginnen. Dieser Euro-Tour Stop hat bereits jetzt mehr als 150 Teilnehmer und den größten Anteil mit knapp 30 Spielern stellen natürlich die Niederländer um 9 Ball Weltmeister Niels Feijen und dem führenden im Euro-Tour Ranking Nick van den Berg. Another title for Jasmin Ouschan The Dynamic Eurotour – Slovenia Open – 21-24 aug 2014 24/08/2014 Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) just won the women’s Euro-Tour in Portoroz, Slovenia with an impressive 6:0 victory in the final match over Monic Margeta (SWE). Even though 32 women participated, it turned out to be a one woman show by Ouschan. 6:2, 6:2, 6:0, 6:1 and 6:0 is her impressive record from the event. That proves that no other player had the slightest chance against Ouschan. In fact, she dominated the whole field to her liking. „I have felt so well here“, stated Ouschan after the awards, „and having played the men’s Euro-Tour just before the women’s Euro-Tour definitely gave me a boost and improved my performance.“ Ouschan achieved and impressive 9th rank in the men’s event, ousting players like Roman Hybler (CZE) and other tough guns to beat. The incredible journey of Karl Boyes The Dynamic Eurotour – Slovenia Open – 21-24 aug 2014 22/08/2014 Great Britain’s Karl Boyes has been on a tough mission in this Dynamic Billard Slovenian Open so far. Yesterday, he defeated Ralf Souquet (GER) with 9:3. Then, he won over Adam Mscisz (POL) 9:1, probably the only „easy“ match so far. Today, he fell to the sharp blade of „The Terminator“ Niels Feijen (NED) 3:9 in the winner’s qualification round. He went on the loser’s side just to mert Ralf Souquet again. There, he was having a comfortable lead when Souquet started pulling back rack after rack from him. He broke at 8:7 in his favor and the 9-ball went in the pocket. Brother-sister duel in the Euro-Tour The Dynamic Eurotour – Slovenia Open – 21-24 aug 2014 21/08/2014 The Dynamic Billard Slovenian Open had a novelty today: For the first time, brother and sister met in the second winner’s round. We are talking about Jasmin and Albin Ouschan from Austria. They both had a walk-over in the first round. Then, in the first winner’s round, Jasmin defeated Andrey Seroshtan (RUS) 9:5 while Albin overcame Michael Lichodziejewski (POL) 9:7. This brought the two together in winner’s round two. They started out quite equally.
