Liu Shasha (CHN) gewinnt 2014 WPA Women’s World 9 Ball Championship im Finale gegen Chen Siming (CHN) mit 9-8. Den 3. Platz belegen Ga Young Kim (KOR) und Tan Ho-Yun (TPE). Vom 12. – 18. Oktober 2014 finden in Guilin/China die 2014 WPA Women’s World 9 Ball Championship statt. Die Damen 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft war bereits im letzten Jahr eines der Highlights im Turnierkalender. Die Präsentation war außergewöhnlich und auch das spielerische Niveau der besten Frauen der Welt hat sich weiter verbessert. Die Titelverteidigerin Yu Han aus China hat 2013 ein perfektes Turnier gespielt, lediglich im Achtelfinale kam sie kurzzeitig in Bedrängnis. Ab der nächsten Runde spielte sie allerdings absolut perfektes Pool Billard ohne Fehler bis zu ihrem 9-1 Sieg im Finale gegen Lin Yuan-Chun aus Taiwan –> 2013 WPA Women’s World 9 Ball Championship. Am kommenden Montag, den 24. Februar 2014 beginnen in Taipei/Taiwan die AMWAY eSpring Women’s World 9 Ball Open 2014. Offiziell startet eines der wichtigsten Damenevents des Jahres erst am 27. Februar und das Finale wird am 02. März ausgetragen. Vom 24. – 26. finden die Qualifikationsrunden statt, um sich für das Hauptfeld zu qualifizieren. Dieses Damenturnier setzt jedes Jahr Maßstäbe, wenn es um Professionalität und erstklassige Präsentation geht. Neben den 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaften der Damen ist dieses Turnier das wohl beliebteste und lukrativste des ganzen Jahres. Rubilen Amit (PHI) gewinnt Yalin Women’s World 10 Ball Championship 2013 im Finale gegen Kelly Fisher (GBR) mit 10-7. Den 3. Platz teilen sich Yu Han (CHN) und Tsai Pei Chen (TW)! In der Zeit vom 31. Oktober bis 04. November 2013 findet in Manila/Philippinen die 5. Ausgabe der Yalin Women’s World 10 Ball Championship statt. Bereits seit dem 26. Oktober laufen die Qualifikationsrunden, um sich für das Hauptfeld der besten 48 Damen zu qualifizieren. Das Hauptfeld der letzten 48 Teilnehmerinnen spielt in 8 Gruppen zu 6 Spielerinnen im Round Robin Format (jeder gegen jeden). Die besten 3 jeder Gruppe qualifizieren sich für die Finalrunde der letzten 24 wo es im Einfach KO (Race to 8) weitergeht.
