26th October, 2013 PartyPoker World Pool Masters Wins for Mika, Alex and Chang Mika Immonen (FIN) 8-6 Efren Reyes (PHI) Alex Pagulayan (CAN) 8-2 Ga Young Kim (KOR) Chang Jung-lin (TPE) 8-6 Daryl Peach (ENG) THREE MORE matches took place this afternoon at the Barnsley Metrodome as the opening round of the 2013 PartyPoker World Pool Masters continued. There were wins for Finland, Canada and Taiwan as Mika Immonen, Alex Pagulayan and Chang Jung-lin all enjoyed victories. There are two more first round matches to take place this evening in the three day $66,000 event but the final match of the session saw an England v Taiwan clash as Blackpool’s Daryl Peach met Chang Jung-lin, the 2012 World 8 Ball Champion and it ended in a close victory for the Taiwanese after he clawed back a big deficit. Platz bei diesem Megaevent belegen Chieh Yu Chou und Pei Chen Tsai aus Taiwan!“ Am 11. März startet das wohl größte Damenevent neben den Weltmeisterschaften. Die AMWAY eSpring Women’s World 9 Ball Open 2013 werden in Taipei/Taiwan bis zum 17. März laufen. Bevor das Hauptfeld am 14. März in das geschehen eingreift, laufen bis zum 13. März die Qualifikationsrunden. Das Hauptfeld besteht aus 40 Spielerinnen und gespielt wird in 8 Gruppen zu je 5 Spielerinnen im Round Robin System (Jeder gegen Jeden). Der Modus ist ein wenig kompliziert, die jeweils Gruppenerste qualifiziert sich direkt für das Achtelfinale. Die Gruppenzweite und -dritte spielen dann anschließend eine Runde um sich für das Achtelfinale (letzten 16) zu qualifizieren. „Chinese-Taipei gewinnt World Pool Team Championship 2012 im Finale gegen Japan mit 4-0. Den 3. Platz belegen das Team China 2 und Großbritannien!“ Vom 01. – 07. Juli finden in Beijing/China die Liando U Valley World Pool Team Championship 2012 statt. Bereits 2010 war die World Team Championship eines der herausragenden Ereignisse des Jahres. 2010 wurde die WTC in Hannover ausgetragen und am ende setzte sich Großbritanien im Finale gegen die Philippinen mit 4-1 durch. Dieses Jahr wurde das Reglement ein wenig verändern, jetzt bestehen die Teams aus Damen und Herren. Der Modus wird wie folgt aussehen, Einzel (Herren 8 Ball Race to 6), Einzel (9 Ball Race to 8) und Doppel (10 Ball Race to 7). Alle Partien werden mit Wechselbreak gespielt. In jeder einzelnen Mannschaftspartie werden immer 6 Matches gespielt. Jedes Team muss aus mindstens 4 Spielern bestehen inkl. einer Dame. Die Dame muss immer im 9 Ball und 10 Ball eingesetzt werden und kein Spieler darf mehr als 2 Matches spielen. Das Gewinnerteam bekommt 3 Punkte, bei Unentschieden gibt es einen Punkt. […]
