Nick van den Berg (NED) gewinnt Treviso Open 2014 im Finale gegen Niels Feijen (NED) mit 9-3. Den 3. Platz belegen Francisco Sanchez-Ruiz (ESP) und Kevin Becker (GER). Der letzte Euro-Tour Stop des Jahres findet in dieser Woche vom 11. – 13. Dezember 2014 statt. Das BHR Hotel in Treviso war in den letzten 12 Monaten öfters Austragungsort einer Euro-Tour. Die letzte Auflage der Treviso Open im Jahre 2013 gewann Nick van den Berg (NED) im Finale gegen Phil Burford (GBR) mit 8-5. Auch bei den Treviso Open 2014 zählt der im Euro-Tour Ranking führende Nick van den Berg zu den ganz heißen Favoriten auf den Sieg in der nähe von Venedig. Bei den Treviso Open 2014 sind bislang mehr als 140 Teilnehmer aus ganz Europa gemeldet. Shane Van Boening (USA) gewinnt US Open 9 Ball Championships 2014 im Finale gegen Dennis Orcollo (PHI) mit 13-10. Den 3. Platz belegt Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE). Shane Van Boening gewinnt als erster Spieler in der Geschichte der US Open 9 Ball diesen begehrten Titel dreimal hintereinander. Vom 13. – 18. Oktober 2014 findet die 39. Ausgabe der US Open 9 Ball Championships statt. Die US Open 9 Ball gelten in der Pool Billard Szene als das wohl prestigeträchtigste Turnier überhaupt. Neben den Weltmeisterschaften sind die US Open 9 Ball das wohl schwierigste Turnier der Welt. Sehr viele internationale Top-Spieler, immer etwas hektische Bedingungen und von der ersten Runde wird auf 11 Gewinnspiele gespielt, das Finale geht bis 13. Mark Gray (GBR) gewinnt Dutch Open 2014 im Finale gegen Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE) mit 9-6. Den 3. Platz belegen Mario He (AUT) und Alexander Kazakis (GRE). In der Zeit vom 01. – 04. Oktober 2014 finden in Leende bei Eindhoven die Dutch Open 2014 statt. Einen Tag früher als gewohnt beginnt dieser Euro-Tour Stop bereits an einem Mittwoch. Es stehen im Hotel Golden Tulip Jagershorst lediglich elf Pool Billard Tische zur Verfügung, das zwingt die EPBF (European Pocket Billiard Federation) dazu einen Tag früher mit den ersten Runden zu beginnen. Dieser Euro-Tour Stop hat bereits jetzt mehr als 150 Teilnehmer und den größten Anteil mit knapp 30 Spielern stellen natürlich die Niederländer um 9 Ball Weltmeister Niels Feijen und dem führenden im Euro-Tour Ranking Nick van den Berg. Grabe Closing In On Mosconi Spot September 05 – 2014 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup Denis Grabe heads Team Europe’s Euro Tour rankings with one event to play as the Estonian bids to earn a first appearance in the PartyPoker Mosconi Cup in Blackpool, England this December. The incredible journey of Karl Boyes The Dynamic Eurotour – Slovenia Open – 21-24 aug 2014 22/08/2014 Great Britain’s Karl Boyes has been on a tough mission in this Dynamic Billard Slovenian Open so far. Yesterday, he defeated Ralf Souquet (GER) with 9:3. Then, he won over Adam Mscisz (POL) 9:1, probably the only „easy“ match so far. Today, he fell to the sharp blade of „The Terminator“ Niels Feijen (NED) 3:9 in the winner’s qualification round. He went on the loser’s side just to mert Ralf Souquet again. There, he was having a comfortable lead when Souquet started pulling back rack after rack from him. He broke at 8:7 in his favor and the 9-ball went in the pocket. 2014 World Cup of Pool – Euro Qualifier starts tomorrow 18 August – 2014 World Cup of Pool – Euro Qualifier set for Slovenia THE EUROPEAN QUALIFYING event for the 2014 World Cup of Pool gets underway tomorrow (Tuesday) in Portoroz, Slovenia with a first round match-up against China awaiting the victors. Niels Feijen (NED) gewinnt 2014 WPA World 9 Ball Championship im Finale gegen Albin Ouschan (AUT) mit 13-10 und sichert sich den begehrtesten Pool Billard Titel der Welt. Den 3. Platz belegen Elmer D. Haya (PHI) und China Open 2014 Champion Chang Yu-Lung (TPE). Ab dem 16. Juni 2014 findet in Doha/Katar die 2014 WPA World 9 Ball Championship statt. Die 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft der Herren gilt zusammen mit den China Open als eines der interessantesten und spannendsten Pool Billard Events im ganzen Jahr. Bis zum 27. Juni werden im Al Saad Sports Club in Doha die besten Pool Spieler aus der ganzen Welt um den wohl begehrtesten Titel der Szene kämpfen. Underdog Denis Grabe wins Dynamic Billard Austrian Open Denis Grabe from Estonia just won the Dynamic Billard Austrian Open 2014 with a clear 9:1 defeat over Nikos Ekonomopoulos (GRE) in the final match. Ekonomopoulos had to deal with #1 ranked player in the semi-final, Nick van den Berg (NED). He played really strong and did not allow van den Berg to find his game even though it was van den Berg’s birthday today. To the contrary, the balls really rolled in Ekonomopoulos’ favor and the end result of 9:2 in favor of Ekonomopoulos showed how clear his victory was today. Denis Grabe had tougher work ahead. In the second semi-final, he was already trailing 7:8 to #2 ranked player Niels Feijen (NED) when the Dutch missed a shot.
