Johann Chua (PHI) gewinnt 48th All Japan Championship 2015 im Finale gegen Ronnie Alcano (PHI) mit 11-7. Den 3. Platz belegen Shane Van Boening (USA) und Han Hao-Xiang (CHN). Bei den Damen gewinnt Ga Young Kim (KOR) im Finale gegen Chihiro Kawahara (JAP) mit 9-2. Den 3. Platz belegen Maki Kimura (JAP) und Makiko Takagi (JAP). In der nächsten Woche findet vom 09. – 15. November 2015 in Amagasaki City/Japan die 48. Ausgabe der All Japan Championship statt. Dieses Turnier hat eine sehr lange Tradition und zählt für viele Pool Billard Profis zu den Pflichtterminen eines jeden Jahres. In der sehr schönen Archaic Hall in Amagasaki City werden sowohl die Herren als auch die Damen, um den sehr prestigeträchtigen Titel kämpfen. 3rd November – 2015 PartyPoker Mosconi Cup Final Ranking for Team USA FOLLOWING A nine event qualification series, the American team is now in place as they prepare themselves for a December assault on the PartyPoker Mosconi Cup. Having last won the coveted transatlantic pool silverware in 2009, this year’s team comprises the top five players on the ranking list. Shane Van Boening was the first to qualify after yet another stellar year but the remaining four spots came down the US Open. Mike Dechaine was the first to qualify and then shortly after it was Corey Deuel’s turn as he took some impressive scalps to garner sufficient points. The two wild card slots went to Justin Bergman, who enjoyed an excellent season while the final spot saw captain Mark Wilson pick rookie Skyler Woodward to ensure a baptism of fire at the Tropicana next month. Bei den US Open stehen die letzten Matches auf dem Programm und in New York werden die Vorbereitungen für die 4. Ausgabe der Steinway Classic abgeschlossen. Cheng Yu-Hsuan (TPE) gewinnt US Open 9 Ball Championships 2015 im Finale gegen Karl Boyes (GBR) mit 13-6. Den 3. Platz belegt Liu Haitao (CHN) vor Ralf Souquet (GER) auf Platz 4. Vom 25. – 30. Oktober 2015 findet im Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel eines der Pool Billard Highlights des Jahres statt. Die US Open 9 Ball Championships sind jedes Jahr neben der 9 Ball Weltmeisterschaft und den Matchroom Events, wie Mosconi Cup oder World Cup of Pool, die größte Herausforderung überhaupt. This time it was the USA who crumbled, going down to Qatar who looked the part and definitely played it. Both players put in gritty, high quality performances, with brilliant shot making under pressure, coupled with just a handful of errors from both superstars. The outcome was in doubt right down to the dramatic end, but it was Ko who seemed to will himself over the finish line for the historic win.
